Reacher Season 3 is complete and streaming exclusively on Prime Video. All eight episodes are available, following a three-episode premiere on February 20, 2025, and weekly releases through the March 27 finale. The season adapts Lee Child’s seventh Jack Reacher novel, Persuader, but makes substantial changes for television.
What is Reacher Season 3 about?
Jack Reacher goes undercover inside the criminal operation of Zachary Beck, a wealthy rug importer whose company, Bizarre Bazaar, is linked to an illegal weapons-smuggling network. Reacher’s mission is to rescue Teresa, an undercover DEA informant, and expose the operation.

The case becomes personal when Reacher discovers that a former military adversary, Quinn, is alive and operating under the name Xavier McCabe. Years earlier, Reacher investigated Quinn for selling national secrets.

Where to watch
All eight episodes stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. Season 3 premiered on February 20, 2025, with Episodes 1–3 released together. The remaining episodes arrived once a week, ending on March 27, 2025. Amazon’s release guide lists the launch schedule.

- Maria Sten as Frances Neagley: Reacher’s closest recurring ally and a former member of the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. She is now a private investigator.
- Anthony Michael Hall as Zachary Beck: The businessman and single father who runs Bizarre Bazaar.
- Sonya Cassidy as Susan Duffy: A sharp, sarcastic DEA agent from Boston leading the government operation.
- Brian Tee as Quinn/Xavier McCabe: Reacher’s former military adversary and the season’s personal antagonist.
- Johnny Berchtold as Richard Beck: Zachary Beck’s son, whose safety becomes central to the operation.
- Robert Montesinos as Guillermo Villanueva: Part of the DEA effort to recover Teresa and bring down the smuggling network.

- Olivier Richters as Paul “Paulie” Masserella: Beck’s former-Army bodyguard and Reacher’s principal physical opponent.

How closely does Season 3 follow Persuader?
The season retains the novel’s core story: Reacher infiltrates a criminal organization, attempts to protect a young person connected to the case, and pursues a personal vendetta against Quinn. Beck, Quinn, Paulie, and Richard also remain important characters.
It is not a scene-for-scene adaptation. The show moves the story into the present, adds Neagley and the DEA characters, reshapes Beck’s family and the operation, and expands Paulie into a major physical rival. Neagley does not appear in the original Persuader novel, while Duffy was created for the television series. The adaptation differences are discussed by TVLine and Men’s Health.
Season 3 ending explained

The finale, “Unfinished Business,” takes Reacher, Neagley, Duffy, and Villanueva to Beck’s estate during a planned weapons deal. Neagley infiltrates the gathering, while Duffy and Villanueva work to rescue Teresa and protect Richard. Reacher stays outside to deal with Paulie.

Reacher and Paulie fight across several parts of the property. Reacher eventually defeats and kills Paulie. Inside, the operation collapses and Reacher confronts Quinn. Reacher kills Quinn, completing the revenge mission rooted in their Army past.
Beck’s criminal enterprise is dismantled, while Teresa and Richard survive. The finale’s events are recapped by TVLine and Radio Times.

According to the latest Rotten Tomatoes listing supplied for the season, Reacher Season 3 has a 98% Tomatometer score from 46 critics and a 73% audience score from more than 1,000 ratings. The critics’ consensus highlights the season’s decision to give Reacher an opponent closer to his physical size while maintaining the series’ action-focused formula. What happens after Season 3?
Season 4: Amazon scheduled Season 4 to premiere on August 12, 2026, with three episodes followed by weekly releases through September 16. It adapts Gone Tomorrow, the thirteenth Reacher novel.
Season 5: Prime Video has renewed the series for a fifth season, which Amazon says will adapt Make Me, the twentieth novel.
