Russia’s environmental issues

In Russia, people are facing serious environmental problems that are affecting their daily lives. The air around one of the largest landfills is so thick that it’s hard to breathe. The snow in Kiselyovsk in Siberia has turned black due to pollution from a coal mine. And the tap water in Krasnodar in the south is often brown. It’s not just a few isolated cases – these examples from different regions in Russia paint a picture of a country facing significant environmental pollution.

A new documentary titled “Polluted Russia” delves deep into the environmental issues that Russia is facing today. The filmmakers traveled to different parts of the country to speak with people who are living in polluted conditions. Through their stories, the documentary sheds light on the struggle and perseverance of the ordinary people who are affected by pollution. With stunning visuals and an engaging narrative, “Polluted Russia” is a must-watch for anyone who cares about the environment and the impact of pollution on society.
