| Route | What it provided | Access qualification | Best use now |

| ABC News Live | Historical live news-stream route | Availability and sign-in rules may change | Check only if seeking related ABC coverage |
| PBS News | ABC’s debate simulcast | Documented for the September 10, 2024 broadcast | Look for archived coverage or context |
| Disney+ and Hulu | Historical access routes reported for the broadcast | May require an account or subscription, and archive availability is not guaranteed | Check existing service access for a replay |
| Local ABC affiliate | Free over-the-air broadcast reception | Requires a receivable local ABC station and suitable antenna or television setup | Useful for future live ABC broadcasts, not a replay by itself |
CBS News’s historical viewing guide documented ABC News Live, Disney+, and Hulu among the original viewing routes. PBS News’s event page documented the public-media simulcast of ABC’s debate.
Can an antenna let you watch ABC without cable?
Yes, an indoor HDTV antenna may let you receive a local ABC affiliate without a pay-TV subscription, but an antenna is not a guaranteed solution for every household. Reception depends on your distance from the broadcast tower, local terrain and buildings, signal strength, antenna placement, and whether an ABC station serves your area.
For a live local broadcast, connect the antenna to the television’s coaxial input and run the television’s channel scan. Place the antenna near a window or as high as practical, then rescan if reception is weak. The exact menu name varies by television, but it is usually under Settings, Channels, Broadcast, or TV signal.
An antenna helps with live over-the-air television reception. An antenna does not provide the historical Harris-Trump debate replay, replace ABC News’s online archive, or guarantee access to an ABC station outside its local coverage area.
