ABC previewed a conversation about life after the presidency, Biden’s legacy and accomplishments, regrets, the Democrats’ 2024 losses and the political landscape after Donald Trump’s return to the White House.

Why the interview was significant
ABC announced the booking on May 1, 2025, describing it as Joe and Jill Biden’s first joint interview since leaving office.
