As of August 18, 2026, Abigail (2024) does not appear to be available in a U.S. subscription-streaming catalog, including Peacock. The latest U.S. availability listing, updated July 30, 2026, showed the film available to rent or buy digitally through Amazon Video, Apple TV Store, Fandango At Home, and Spectrum On Demand. The listed prices were $3.99 to rent and $14.99 to buy, although prices and formats can change.
Abigail did stream exclusively on Peacock beginning July 19, 2024, but that was a historical release window—not confirmation that the movie remains in Peacock’s catalog.
Is Abigail streaming on Peacock right now?
It does not appear to be currently listed on Peacock in the United States. The latest U.S. listing located for the film reports digital rental and purchase options but no active subscription-streaming or free-streaming option. Because catalogs change, confirm the title directly in Peacock before starting a subscription.

The confusion comes from Peacock’s official announcement that Abigail would stream exclusively on the service starting July 19, 2024. That announcement accurately described the film’s 2024 Peacock debut, but it is not a guarantee of availability in 2026. You can read the original announcement on Peacock’s website.

What is the cheapest way to watch Abigail?
For one viewing, the cheapest legitimate option found was a $3.99 digital rental. That is substantially less than starting a Peacock subscription solely for this movie—particularly because the latest listing does not show Abigail as currently included with Peacock.
Prices are snapshots, not guarantees. Retailers can vary by account, promotion, resolution, device, and location, so check the final price at checkout.

Renting versus buying
| Option | Best for | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Rent digitally | One-time viewing and the lowest upfront cost | Access is time-limited, with exact rules set by the retailer. |
| Buy digitally | Repeat viewing in an existing Apple, Amazon, Google, or Fandango library | “Buy” generally means an account-based license, not an unrestricted video file. Purchases may not transfer between ecosystems. |
| Buy Blu-ray/DVD | Collectors, offline viewing, and unreliable internet connections | Requires a compatible disc player; DVD has lower picture quality than Blu-ray. |
Before purchasing, check the specific listing for resolution, audio, subtitles, language options, and bonus features. Those details can differ between retailers and editions.

When did Abigail come out at home?
The film had several separate home-release milestones:
- April 19, 2024: U.S. theatrical release.
- May 7, 2024: The initial digital rental-and-purchase window reported by secondary home-entertainment coverage.
- June 25, 2024: Universal’s announced digital ownership release with bonus content.
- July 9, 2024: Blu-ray and DVD release.
- July 19, 2024: Peacock streaming debut.
The May 7 and June 25 dates are not necessarily contradictory. The earlier date was reported as the initial transactional-VOD window, while Universal’s June 25 announcement referred to the later digital ownership release and home-entertainment package. The Universal Pictures Home Entertainment release information provides the studio’s digital and physical-media dates.

Is a Peacock subscription worth it for Abigail?
Not if this is the only movie you want to watch. Peacock’s listed plans were:
- Peacock Premium: $10.99 per month or $109.99 per year.
- Peacock Premium Plus: $16.99 per month or $169.99 per year.
Premium includes advertising and access to Peacock movies, originals, television, sports, and live events. Premium Plus removes ads from most on-demand programming, with Peacock noting exceptions for channels, live sports and events, and some shows and movies. Annual plans are presented as 12 months for the price of 10, but that still makes little sense for a one-film viewing if Abigail is not currently included.
Peacock Premium may be worthwhile if you also want its broader catalog, NBC or Bravo programming, live sports, or Peacock originals. Premium Plus is a household-level choice for heavier users—not a sensible workaround for finding a film that may have left the service. Check the current Peacock plan page and search the live catalog before subscribing.
