Yes—but only for selected programming, and the answer depends on the season. During the 2025 preseason, NESN’s free, ad-supported NESN NATION channel carried Bruins preseason programming and was available through Samsung TV Plus. The Boston Bruins’ 2026 preseason schedule is confirmed, but the team has not yet confirmed that those games will be shown on NESN NATION or Samsung TV Plus.
How the free Bruins stream worked
The viewing chain was:
Bruins preseason programming → NESN NATION → Samsung TV Plus.
Samsung TV Plus is Samsung’s free, ad-supported streaming service. NESN NATION is a separate free, ad-supported channel distributed through TV Plus and other platforms. It is not the same thing as the paid or authenticated NESN regional network, NESN+, or NESN 360.
NESN describes NESN NATION as a home for Bruins-related live and original content, including programming such as Morning Skate and Pregame Skate. A Bruins logo or studio program does not by itself guarantee that a complete live game is airing, so check the channel guide for the specific event.

What was confirmed for the 2025 preseason?
NESN announced Bruins preseason programming on NESN NATION, and the channel was available on Samsung TV Plus. The 2025 Bruins preseason was a six-game schedule. The available announcement confirms the preseason arrangement but does not provide a complete game-by-game list and start times here; viewers should use the dated NESN listing for the individual broadcast details rather than assume every game was carried identically.
What is known about the 2026 preseason?
The Bruins announced four 2026 preseason games on September 20, September 22, September 24 and September 25. However, the team’s June 22 announcement said the preseason broadcast schedule would be released later. No available official announcement confirms that these games will again be live on NESN NATION or Samsung TV Plus.
Therefore, treat the 2025 free-stream arrangement as historical confirmation—not a promise for 2026. Check the Bruins or NESN listing for each game once the broadcast schedule is published.

Viewers in New England
NESN NATION should not be confused with the regional NESN feed. NESN 360 is the broader live-game option for eligible New England viewers, either through TV-provider authentication or a direct subscription. Details are listed on the Bruins broadcast page and NESN 360.
Viewers outside New England
NESN states that NESN National cannot carry live Bruins games outside New England because of league and territory rights. Seeing NESN NATION in an app does not mean every Bruins game is available live in every location.

If NESN NATION or the game is missing
The channel does not appear
- Confirm that the TV is online.
- Restart the television and reopen Samsung TV Plus.
- Search the guide for “NESN” or “NESN NATION,” rather than only checking the regular app list.
- Check the official Bruins or NESN schedule.
- Try another supported NESN NATION platform if available.
Samsung’s regional availability, a changed lineup or an unsupported model can all explain a missing channel.

That is generally a programming or rights issue, not a Samsung hardware fault. NESN NATION carries a mixture of live events, interviews, skate coverage, podcasts and original shows, and Samsung says its lineup can change.

For the four-game 2026 preseason, the dates are official but the broadcast outlets are not yet confirmed. Wait for the individual NESN or Bruins listings before assuming a game will be free on TV Plus.
