Fubo can be a good fit for households that watch live sports, but it is not automatically the cheapest or most complete TV option. Your local channels, regional sports network (RSN), must-have sports and final price depend on your ZIP code and plan. A current Fubo Sports offer is advertised at $54.99 for the first month, then $64.99 per month, with a free-trial offer shown; those are later-2026 prices, not verified March 2026 prices.
Date note: A February 10, 2026 review reported Fubo starting at $73.99 per month and described five-day trials for its main packages. Current pages viewed around August 16–18, 2026 show different offers and lineup information. What is Fubo?
Fubo is a subscription live-TV streaming service: it delivers sports, news, entertainment, local broadcast stations and on-demand programming through apps and web browsers, rather than through a traditional cable box. Its plans are designed around live TV, especially sports, and availability depends on location and the selected package.
“Fubo” can refer to different services. Paid Fubo TV plans provide the live-TV bundle. Fubo Free may be offered to eligible former trial or paid subscribers, but eligibility should be checked in the account. Fubo Sports Network is a separate free, ad-supported channel distributed through services such as Roku Channel, Tubi, Xumo Play and Samsung TV Plus; it is not a free version of the paid Fubo subscription. How much does Fubo cost?
The figures below are not all from the same date or source. The official Fubo page showed the first two promotional offers around August 16–18, 2026. The other plan figures are reported by secondary coverage as current-page signals, not verified March 2026 prices. Confirm the plan name, price and fees at checkout.

The Fubo Sports and family-TV promotional prices, channel counts and trial offer come from Fubo’s current product page. Pro, Elite, Latino and Sports + News figures come from CableTV’s Fubo coverage; they should not be treated as an archived March lineup.
Work out the real monthly total
True monthly cost = base plan + RSN fee, if applicable + add-ons + taxes and regulatory fees. Fubo says regional restrictions, additional taxes and fees, and price changes may apply. A first-month discount is not the recurring rate. CableTV reports possible RSN charges of about $3–$17 per month in applicable markets, but the amount and treatment depend on plan and location.
Observed secondary-page add-on prices include Sports Plus with NFL RedZone at $10.99 per month, NBA League Pass at $16.99, MLB.TV at $29.99, Paramount+ Premium at $10.99, MGM+ at $6.99, STARZ at $10.99, and a Paramount+/MGM+/STARZ bundle at $19.99. These are volatile figures reported by CableTV, not guaranteed rates; check the live checkout. Add-ons, RSN fees and taxes can erase a plan’s apparent savings.

What channels does Fubo have?
There is no single lineup that applies to every subscriber. Use Fubo’s ZIP-code channel and plan comparison tools before signing up; a national promotional list does not guarantee your local affiliate or a particular network in your market. Fubo plan comparison and channel directories

Local broadcast channels
Fubo advertises ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC where available, and some markets may offer Telemundo or other Spanish-language local stations. Affiliate availability depends on your ZIP code and Fubo’s rights in that market. Search for the actual station, not just the network name.
Sports channels
Current Fubo materials promote ESPN, ESPN Unlimited, FOX One, FOX, ABC, CBS and NBC, and identify sports networks such as FS1, NFL Network, Tennis Channel, MLB Network, NHL Network and beIN SPORTS in its network information. NFL RedZone, MLB.TV and other sports services may require an add-on or a particular package. Do not assume every listed network is included in every plan.
Entertainment and lifestyle
Secondary coverage lists examples including AMC, Bravo, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Discovery, Disney Channel, Food Network, FX, HGTV, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TLC, truTV and USA Network. Treat this as orientation, not a guarantee: carriage can change, and package availability varies.

Before subscribing, search the ZIP-code lineup for TBS, TNT, CNN, regional NBC stations, NBC Sports regional networks, RSNs, college-sports networks and league-specific channels. CableTV reports that channel counts and NBCUniversal availability changed during 2026, including a reported dispute resolution on June 10, 2026. What sports can you watch?
Fubo advertises coverage across sports including NFL and college football, MLB, NBA and WNBA, NHL, soccer, NASCAR, tennis, golf and other college and international sports. The key question is not whether a sport appears in a promotional list, but where the specific event’s rights sit.

- Local games: May depend on your local broadcast affiliate and your location.
- Regional games: May be carried by an RSN available only in selected markets, sometimes for an extra fee.
- Out-of-market packages: Services such as MLB.TV may be separate add-ons and remain subject to league rules.
- Blackouts and rights restrictions: A subscription does not guarantee access to every game; national exclusivity, local rights and location-based blackouts can apply.

Does Fubo include ESPN Unlimited?
As shown on Fubo’s current offer page around August 16–18, 2026, ESPN Unlimited is promoted with the Fubo Sports and broader family-TV offers. Does Fubo have regional sports networks?
It can carry RSNs in participating markets, but availability is ZIP-code-specific and fees may apply. CableTV reports that Pro may charge an additional RSN fee while Elite may include RSN costs in its package price; confirm the current treatment on the plan offered to your address. Is there a Fubo free trial?
Generally, yes: Fubo’s current page displays a free-trial offer, and CableTV reports five-day trials on main plans. The length, eligibility and offer can vary by plan, promotion, prior account history and signup channel. A payment method may be required, and a trial can convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before renewal. Fubo says it will remind users the day before the trial ends; check the offer and billing dates shown on your own signup screen.
Before starting the trial
- Confirm the plan name and the channels in your ZIP code.
- Record the trial end date and first paid billing date.
- Note the price after any trial and the price after any first-month promotion.
- Check for an RSN fee, taxes and preselected add-ons.
- Find out whether you will be billed by Fubo directly or through Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or another provider.
- If you cancel, use the same account or billing channel used to subscribe and save the confirmation.
Do not assume that canceling immediately always preserves viewing access through the trial end; the result can depend on the billing channel and terms.

How do you cancel Fubo?
If you subscribed and pay Fubo directly, start in your Fubo account area and follow the cancellation flow. If you subscribed through Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or another third party, you may need to cancel through that provider instead. Deleting the app does not cancel billing, and pausing a subscription, if offered, is not the same as canceling it.

How many streams, profiles and DVR recordings do you get?
Fubo’s current Sports page advertises viewing on 10 screens at once, while secondary coverage describes 10 at-home streams plus two mobile streams for some plans. These are plan-specific claims, not a universal limit; mobile, outside-home and simultaneous-stream rules can differ. Check the selected plan’s terms if several people will watch at the same time.
Fubo promotes unlimited cloud DVR. CableTV reports that recordings on covered plans are retained for up to nine months and that the service supports six profiles; verify those details for your plan, since feature limits can change. A recording allowance does not make a live event available in your market if the underlying channel or rights are missing.

Secondary coverage says Elite includes 4K Plus, but 4K is limited to selected programming and compatible devices. The event itself, TV, streaming device, app version and internet connection all have to support the format. Which devices support Fubo?
Fubo lists support for Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, LG, Vizio and Hisense smart TVs, Android devices, iPhone and iPad, Xbox, and web browsers. Device models, operating-system versions and features such as 4K or multiview can vary, so consult Fubo’s live device information before relying on a particular television or streaming box. How to decide if Fubo is worth it
Use this checklist before choosing a package. The ZIP code and rights checks matter more than a headline channel count.
- Enter your ZIP code in Fubo’s channel directory.
- List every local station, sports network and entertainment channel you consider essential.
- Search for your exact teams, leagues and events; identify whether each is local, national, regional or out-of-market.
- Add the required plan, sports packages, league services and other add-ons.
- Add any RSN charge, taxes and regulatory fees, then calculate the price after the promotion ends.
- Compare that total with YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling, DIRECTV and a direct league subscription. Compare channels and rights as well as price; competitor prices are not listed here because they are not established in this guide.
- If you start a trial, record the renewal amount, dates and cancellation route before you begin watching.

Who should choose Fubo—and who should skip it?
Fubo may suit you if
- You watch live sports frequently and the networks carrying your teams are in your local lineup.
- You want local stations or an RSN and have confirmed that Fubo carries the right affiliates and feeds at your address.
- You value cloud DVR and multiple simultaneous home streams, subject to your plan’s limits.
- You are comfortable checking a promotional rate against its renewal price and paying for necessary add-ons.
Look elsewhere if
- You mainly want scripted entertainment, or a must-have network such as TNT, TBS or CNN is missing from the plan you can get.
- You need every game for a team or league: Fubo cannot override broadcast rights, blackouts or out-of-market restrictions.
- Your market has weak local or RSN coverage, or fees and add-ons make the total poor value.
- You want one predictable all-in price, rarely watch live TV, or want a low-cost replacement for an on-demand service.
For a sports-first household, Fubo is worth considering when its ZIP-code lineup includes the local stations, RSNs and sports networks you actually need at a competitive post-promotion total. If any of those checks fail, compare another live-TV bundle or a direct league service before paying.
