Vudu is now Fandango at Home, but signing in with Walmart and combining two separate movie libraries are different things. First try the current Fandango at Home login with the credentials you used before; if you used Walmart to access your library, try the Walmart sign-in option. Check My Library before creating another account or changing anything. If two logins show different purchases, contact Fandango at Home support: a universal self-service account-merge tool is not documented on its public account pages.
First identify what kind of account problem you have
People often call several different account tasks a “Walmart and Vudu merge.” The right next step depends on whether you need to sign in, connect a login, complete a legacy migration, or consolidate separate libraries.

In account terms, a link connects a login provider or service to an account; a conversion changes how an older account is accessed; a migration moves a library from a service such as FandangoNOW; and a merge combines two distinct accounts. A Walmart sign-in opening one library does not, by itself, combine it with a separate library.
Why Vudu is now called Fandango at Home
Walmart integrated Vudu into its digital-movie ecosystem, including an InstaWatch process for some Walmart purchases. Walmart described signing in to an existing Vudu account or creating one to receive eligible digital movies in its 2014 explanation of digital movie access. Fandango acquired Vudu from Walmart in 2020, and the service was rebranded as Fandango at Home in 2024.

In announcing the 2024 rebrand, Fandango said users’ libraries and collections, usernames, and passwords would remain unchanged. That announcement addressed the brand change; it is not a guarantee about every separate-account, legacy-migration, or missing-purchase case. Older instructions and device menus may still say “Vudu,” “Walmart Vudu,” or “FandangoNOW.”
Find the account that contains your purchases
- List likely email addresses. Include addresses used for Walmart.com, Vudu, Fandango, and FandangoNOW, as well as the address used for PayPal or purchase receipts.
- Search your inboxes. Look for Vudu or Fandango at Home purchase receipts, Walmart digital-copy or InstaWatch notices, password-reset messages, and account-conversion emails. Note the address that received each message and any order number.
- Check saved sign-in details. Look in your browser’s password manager and, if available, the account information on older devices for saved usernames or email addresses.
- Test the official login methods. Try direct email-and-password sign-in, then the Walmart option if you historically used Walmart credentials. Use only email addresses and accounts you own.
- Compare the library with your records. After each successful sign-in, open My Library and compare the visible titles with receipts or order history. Record which login shows which purchases.
Stop when you find the complete library. An empty library after one sign-in does not establish that purchases were deleted; it may mean you entered a different account.

Sign in to Fandango at Home
Start at the official site
Go to Fandango at Home directly rather than following an unexpected email or social-media link. The site’s URLs and some support references may still contain “Vudu.”
Try direct email and password
Use the standard sign-in page and enter the email and password associated with the Vudu or Fandango at Home library. If the password fails, use the page’s Forgot password? control. Try likely addresses individually and note which one receives a reset email.

Try Walmart sign-in if that was your old route
The Walmart sign-in page currently displays Sign In with Your Walmart.com Account. Use it if you historically entered Vudu through Walmart. The option’s presence does not mean that every Vudu account associated with you is tied to your current Walmart email, or that signing in will combine separate libraries.
Verify the account before changing it
Once signed in, open My Library and check purchased movies and TV seasons against your records. Review the account email and the available account settings. Fandango at Home’s public account-management page lists My Library, Account, Settings, Manage Devices, and Redeem a Code; the page does not establish a general account-merge control.

If the desired library is present, save the account email and keep purchase receipts. If the account interface offers a way to establish or update a direct password, you may use it, but do not assume that a Walmart password change also changes a Fandango at Home password—or that Walmart sign-in can always be removed through self-service. If you want to rely on direct sign-in, test it separately in another browser or device before signing out of a working session.
If you have two separate libraries, ask support before authorizing changes
Choose which account you would prefer to retain. Useful considerations include which library is more complete, which email address you want to use, and which account has the purchase history, payment settings, devices, or Movies Anywhere connection you rely on. Do not buy or redeem more titles on either account while the question is unresolved.

- Write down both account email addresses and any different usernames.
- List missing titles and approximate purchase dates; gather order numbers and receipts.
- Note relevant history, such as FandangoNOW, Walmart InstaWatch, Movies Anywhere, UltraViolet, or another redemption service.
- Contact the official Fandango at Home/Vudu support portal.
- Ask directly whether these specific accounts can be consolidated, which account would remain, and what happens to each library.
- Before authorizing a change, ask whether credits, gift balances, promotional titles, redeemed codes, TV purchases, or device authorizations are excluded or handled differently. Request written confirmation.
Older Fandango forum discussions describe support-assisted merges, including a transfer discussion and a duplicate-account discussion. They are historical reports, not confirmation that the same process or eligibility rules apply now.

The password reset email does not arrive
- Check spam and filtered folders.
- Try another email address you used for the service; the Walmart address you use today may not be the address on an older library.
- If you historically signed in through Walmart, test the Walmart sign-in option as well as direct email login.
- If you still cannot identify or access the account, contact official support rather than creating more accounts.
The library looks empty
- Confirm the address and login method; direct login and Walmart sign-in may lead to different accounts.
- Check receipts to distinguish purchases from rentals, promotional titles, and redeemed codes.
- Look for TV seasons as well as individual movies, and check whether an older FandangoNOW migration may be involved.
- Ask support to investigate if receipts show purchases that are not visible in the account you can access.
You already made another account
Pause purchases and code redemptions on the new account. Keep both sets of account details and ask support whether the newer account can be consolidated into the one with the older library. Do not assume purchases, balances, promotional content, or device permissions will combine automatically.
You are using an older app or device
Test sign-in through the current official website first. Update an app only through the device’s official app store. Do not enter credentials into an unofficial migration page or a site reached through an unexpected redirect.
Movies Anywhere is not an account-merge tool
Fandango at Home offers a connection to Movies Anywhere for eligible movies across participating services. That is a separate linking service, not a way to combine two Fandango at Home accounts or recover every missing title. Movies Anywhere’s Fandango connection page specifies U.S. residency and a minimum age of 18. Do not assume it covers TV purchases or movies that are not eligible for Movies Anywhere.

Prepare a safe support request
- Name on each account and every possible account email.
- Walmart account email and Fandango/Vudu account email, if different.
- Purchase receipts, order numbers, approximate purchase dates, and a list of missing movies or TV seasons.
- Screenshots showing what appears after each login, with sensitive information removed where possible.
- Approximate account-creation dates, relevant devices, and any FandangoNOW, InstaWatch, Movies Anywhere, UltraViolet, or redemption history.
- The account you prefer to keep and a direct request: “Please confirm whether these two accounts can be consolidated and identify which library will be retained.”
Never send a password, full payment-card number, or one-time security code. Use the official support portal, and do not give credentials to a third-party account-transfer service.
