A Turk leaves his homeland

Kemal Kocatürk, a well-known intellectual and actor from Istanbul, fled his homeland due to the oppressive political situation and lack of tolerance for dissenting opinions. He left behind his friends and home to embark on a new journey in Germany, hoping to start fresh and leave his turbulent past behind.

Now, a new documentary sheds light on Kemal’s life and the reasons that compelled him to leave Turkey.
