God Grew Tired of Us is an awe-inspiring documentary telling the story of three Sudanese boys – John Bul Dau, Daniel Pach and Panther Bior – and their remarkable journey from their war-torn homeland to America.
The film, directed by Christopher Quinn, follows the trio’s treacherous 8,000 mile trek across Africa to a refugee camp in Kenya. Their journey is made even more astonishing by the fact that these three young men are part of the Lost Boys of Sudan, a group of over 20,000 displaced children who were forced to flee their homes due to civil unrest. Throughout their odyssey, they encounter countless difficulties and dangers but eventually make it to America where they are granted asylum.
