YouTube Live Redirect sends viewers to a selected live stream or Premiere after your source stream ends. In YouTube Studio, open Content > Live, edit the source stream, then go to Customization > Redirect > Add and choose an available destination. YouTube says the sending channel must have more than 1,000 subscribers and no Community Guidelines strikes. YouTube Help explains the eligibility and setup.
Live Redirect kya karta hai—and kab chalta hai?
Live Redirect source broadcast ke khatam hone par viewers ko aapke chune hue live stream ya Premiere par bhejta hai. Yeh source stream ke khatam hone ke baad ka handoff hai, running broadcast ke dauran hamesha dikhne wala link nahi. Agar source stream chalti rahe, redirect trigger nahi hota.
YouTube ke mutabik, “Once your live stream ends, autoplay will move your viewers to the Premiere or live stream of your choice.” Viewer ko player reload hone mein kuch seconds lag sakte hain. Autoplay band ho to unhe play par click karna pad sakta hai. YouTube Help: Live Redirect and TeamYouTube’s May 3, 2022 announcement, updated June 2022 describe these behaviors.
Eligibility aur destination pehle check karein
- Sending channel: YouTube Help ke stated rule ke mutabik 1,000 se zyada subscribers aur koi Community Guidelines strike nahi honi chahiye. Yeh sending channel ki eligibility hai.
- Destination: Redirect picker mein chuna ja sakne wala live stream ya Premiere hona chahiye. TeamYouTube ke 2022 announcement ne active ya upcoming live streams aur upcoming Premieres ko eligible destinations bataya; picker ka exact behavior badal sakta hai, isliye Studio mein available options verify karein.
- Doosre channel ka destination: Us channel ki permission zaroori hai. Receiver YouTube Studio mein Settings > Community ke andar redirect permissions manage kar sakta hai. Help Center ke anusaar options mein public subscriptions wale subscribed channels ko default permission, sabhi channels ko permission, ya manually maintained allowlist (adhiktam 100 channels) shamil hain. - Same-channel destination: Official Help page yeh explicitly confirm nahi karta ki aap ek hi channel ke doosre live stream ko destination bana sakte hain. Is par bharosa karne se pehle dekhein ki intended stream picker mein aata hai ya nahi.
YouTube Studio mein redirect set karein
- Eligibility confirm karein. Sending channel ke subscribers aur Community Guidelines standing check karein.
- Destination ko available karein. Target stream ya Premiere ko schedule/start karein, ya kisi doosre channel par ho to us channel se permission confirm karein. Picker mein jo destinations dikhte hain, wahi select kiye ja sakte hain.
- Source stream kholein. YouTube Studio mein Content > Live par jaakar us stream ko edit karein jiske end par viewers ko aage bhejna hai.
- Redirect chunen. Customization > Redirect > Add par jaayein, phir available list se destination select karein.
- End behavior plan karein. Source ko us waqt end hona hoga jab aap handoff chahte hain. Viewers ko bata dein ki player reload ke liye kuch seconds dein; autoplay disabled ho to play dabana pad sakta hai.
Redirect configuration aur destination broadcast chalana alag kaam hain. Redirect set karne se 24/7 stream apne aap shuru nahi hota. 24/7 destination stream ke archive aur DVR limits
YouTube Help ke mutabik, 12 ghante se chhote streams automatically archive ho sakte hain. 12 ghante se zyada chalne wala stream shayad capture hi na ho. Agar recording preserve karni hai, local archive backup rakhein. Yeh archive concern hai, live rehne ki maximum duration ka claim nahi. YouTube archive guidance.
Bahut lambe streams par DVR rewind limited ya unavailable ho sakta hai. YouTube ki guidance 12 ghante se zyada streams ke liye is playback limitation ka zikr karti hai; iska matlab yeh nahi ki stream us duration ke baad live nahi reh sakta. YouTube live stream settings and DVR guidance.

Agar redirect kaam na kare
- Redirect option ya eligible setup nazar nahi aata: Sending channel ka subscriber count aur strike status stated eligibility se match karta hai ya nahi verify karein.
- Target list mein nahi hai: Destination ko active/upcoming live stream ya upcoming Premiere ke roop mein available rakhein, phir picker dobara dekhein. Product behavior badal sakta hai; sirf is baat par assume na karein ki same-channel routing supported hai.
- Doosre channel ka target select nahi hota: Receiver se permission check karwayein. Woh Settings > Community mein allowlist ya doosri permission setting dekh sakta hai.
- Viewers destination par nahi pahunchte: Confirm karein ki source stream waqai end hui aur redirect sahi destination par set hai. Viewers ko player reload ke liye kuch seconds dene ko kahein; autoplay off hone par play click karna pad sakta hai.
- Long stream ka replay ya rewind nahi milta: 12 ghante se zyada stream ka archive capture guaranteed nahi, aur DVR rewind limited ya unavailable ho sakta hai. Zaroori recording ke liye local backup rakhein.
