Yes—a second Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer was reported leaked online in June 2026. That was an unauthorized copy, not an official Sony release. Sony now hosts the authorized trailer on the film’s official trailer page. A separate August report concerned a bootleg of the full film, not another trailer.
What happened with the trailer?
On June 9, 2026, GamesRadar reported that a second trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day had leaked on Twitter, now known as X. The outlet described the circulating footage as watermarked. This was a report about an unauthorized copy; Sony did not announce the leak as an official release. GamesRadar’s June report covers that incident.
Where can you watch the official trailer?
Sony’s official trailer page hosts the authorized version. Sony Pictures also published “SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY – New Trailer (4K)” on its official YouTube channel on June 17, 2026: watch the official trailer on YouTube.
The film is the fourth movie featuring Tom Holland as Spider-Man. Sony’s synopsis describes Peter Parker fighting crime full-time in a world that no longer remembers him, as his abilities change and an unseen threat emerges. The official page names Destin Daniel Cretton as director, with Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers as writers; the cast includes Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo. Sony says the story takes place four years after Spider-Man: No Way Home. The trailer page lists a PG-13 rating for action and violence sequences and some language. See Sony’s film details.

Was the full movie leaked too?
Yes, but that was a different incident. Variety reported that a high-quality bootleg of the full film was posted on X on August 1, 2026. The outlet said the post reached 5.9 million accounts and had more than 143,000 likes and 10,000 reposts before it was removed around 3:25 p.m. PT. Those figures describe that particular post at the time Variety reported on it; they are not a count of everyone who watched any copy. Variety also reported that Sony had no comment, which is the outlet’s account of the studio’s response, not a direct quote from a named spokesperson. Read Variety’s report on the full-film bootleg.
The available reporting does not establish whether unauthorized copies remain online now. Avoid links promising leaked footage or a full movie; use Sony’s official trailer page for the authorized video.
