शुरू करने से पहले: channel और सामग्री तैयार करें
Live streaming की पात्रता जांचें

अपनी animation और audio के अधिकार जांचें
प्रसारण में इस्तेमाल किए गए visuals और audio के अधिकार आपके पास होने चाहिए। किसी और की music, footage, कहानी या artwork को शामिल करने से पहले उसका उपयोग करने की अनुमति सुनिश्चित करें।

OBS और मीडिया file तैयार रखें
अपनी final rendered story file को ऐसे स्थान पर रखें जहां OBS उसे पढ़ सके। कई clips चलाने के लिए VLC source उपयोग करना है तो VLC पहले install करें। प्रसारण के दौरान computer, OBS और internet connection चालू रहने चाहिए; ये बंद हुए तो DIY stream जारी नहीं रह पाएगी।
OBS से animated story को YouTube Live पर चलाएं
- Channel सक्षम करें: YouTube channel verification और live-stream eligibility पूरी करें। अगर YouTube Live अभी उपलब्ध नहीं है, तो OBS में आगे के चरण पूरे करने के बावजूद प्रसारण शुरू नहीं होगा।
- OBS में scene बनाएं: OBS खोलें, एक scene चुनें या बनाएं और Sources में + दबाएं। एक video के लिए Media Source जोड़ें। अपनी story file चुनें और Loop चालू करें।
- Playlist सेट करें: कई stories के लिए Sources में + से VLC Video Source जोड़ें। VLC source में media items की playlist बनाएं और Loop Playlist चालू करें। VLC installed न हो तो यह source उपलब्ध नहीं होगा।
- YouTube से stream credentials लें: YouTube Studio खोलें, Go live पर जाएं और encoder के लिए stream URL तथा stream key लें। YouTube इन्हें encoder workflow में इस्तेमाल करता है; अपनी stream key को password की तरह सुरक्षित रखें। YouTube का कहना है: “Stream keys are like your YouTube stream’s password and address.” इसे सार्वजनिक न करें और screenshots में न दिखाएं। विवरण Manage live stream settings में हैं।
- Encoder को YouTube से जोड़ें: OBS की stream settings में YouTube द्वारा दिए गए server/stream URL और stream key के संबंधित fields भरें। Stream URL और key अपने YouTube Studio session से ही लें—उन्हें किसी और के साथ साझा न करें। Encoder workflow के लिए YouTube की encoder stream गाइड देखें।
- पहले test करें: OBS से stream शुरू करें और YouTube Live Control Room में preview तथा stream status जांचें। पहले छोटा private या unlisted test करना उपयोगी व्यावहारिक कदम है; इसे YouTube का अनिवार्य नियम न समझें।
- प्रसारण की निगरानी करें: लंबी stream के दौरान OBS, computer, बिजली और internet connection पर नजर रखें। YouTube की उपलब्ध जानकारी 24/7 uninterrupted uptime या encoder रुकने पर स्वतः restart की गारंटी नहीं देती। इसलिए interruptions पहचानने और दोबारा शुरू करने की योजना रखें।
24/7 प्रसारण में archive और DVR की सीमाएं
यदि replay/archive चाहिए, तो stream को 12 घंटे से कम के प्रसारणों में बांटने पर विचार करें और OBS से अलग local recording भी रखें। YouTube की archive guidance के मुताबिक 12 घंटे से कम की streams अपने-आप archive हो सकती हैं, लेकिन यह स्थायी गारंटी नहीं है; 12 घंटे से लंबी stream शायद capture न हो। विवरण Archive live streams में है।

समस्या आए तो क्या जांचें
- YouTube पर stream शुरू नहीं हो रही: channel verification, live-stream eligibility और पिछले 90 दिनों में किसी restriction की जांच करें।
- OBS में वीडियो नहीं चल रहा: Media Source में सही file चुनी है या नहीं देखें। Playlist source इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं तो VLC installed होने और playlist में media items होने की पुष्टि करें।
- वीडियो एक बार चलकर रुक जाता है: एक file के लिए Media Source का Loop या playlist के लिए Loop Playlist विकल्प जांचें।
- YouTube को feed नहीं मिल रही: Studio से लिया stream URL और stream key OBS के सही fields में दर्ज हैं या नहीं जांचें। जरूरत हो तो Studio से credentials दोबारा देखें; stream key को सुरक्षित रखें।
- लंबी stream archive में नहीं दिखती: 12 घंटे से अधिक प्रसारण archive न भी हो सकता है। अगली बार archive महत्वपूर्ण हो तो 12 घंटे से कम के segments बनाएं और local recording रखें।
- दर्शक live video में पीछे rewind नहीं कर पा रहे: लंबे stream में DVR सीमित या अनुपलब्ध हो सकता है; DVR setting और YouTube DVR सहायता जांचें।
- Stream बीच में रुक जाती है: computer, बिजली, internet और OBS की स्थिति जांचें। DIY setup में YouTube अपने-आप stream दोबारा शुरू होने की गारंटी नहीं देता; interruption पहचानने और encoder फिर चालू करने की व्यवस्था रखें।
