You Can See Everything grossed an estimated $19.5 million in U.S. and Canadian theaters from October 23–25, 2026, a 25% increase over its opening weekend. The Elizabeth Holmes documentary reached that higher total after A24 expanded it from 855 theaters to 2,655, putting the film in second place for the weekend behind Clayface. Its cumulative domestic gross stood at $45,145,476.
What does the $19.5 million figure represent?
The reported $19.5 million is the film’s second-weekend domestic gross: ticket sales collected Friday through Sunday in the United States and Canada. It is not a worldwide total. The Numbers’ 2026 chart rounds the weekend figure to $19.5 million while recording the cumulative domestic total to the dollar.
That result placed You Can See Everything second nationally for the October 23–25 frame, behind Clayface. The film’s domestic running total was $45,145,476 after the weekend.

How much did the film make in its opening weekend?
The film opened to $15,601,418 domestically. The second-weekend figure therefore represented a reported 25% increase in total weekend gross, rather than the usual week-two decline seen by many theatrical releases.

| Measure | Opening weekend | Second weekend |
|---|---|---|
| Domestic weekend gross | $15,601,418 | $19.5 million (rounded) |
| Theaters | 855 | 2,655 |
| Per-theater average | $18,247 | $7,345 |
The per-theater numbers show why the headline needs context. Although the overall weekend gross rose, the average revenue per location fell from $18,247 to $7,345. More screens supplied substantially more opportunities to buy tickets, so a larger total does not demonstrate that demand increased at theaters that had already been showing the film.
Why was the second weekend larger than the opening?
The documented explanation is the theater expansion. A24 increased the release from 855 locations to 2,655, adding 1,800 theaters between weekends. That broader footprint allowed the film to collect ticket sales in many markets that did not have it during opening weekend.

The available box-office reports establish the expansion, the gross and the per-theater averages, but they do not isolate how much of the increase came from new locations, repeat attendance, word of mouth, or other audience behavior. The 25% rise should therefore be read as a total-gross result associated with a much wider release, not as proof of a particular cause.
What is You Can See Everything about?
You Can See Everything is a documentary about Elizabeth Holmes. Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim directed the film. The project’s subject and unconventional approach have made it a notable theatrical documentary release rather than a standard limited-run nonfiction title.

The Associated Press described the film as attracting younger moviegoers. Any discussion of a possible Academy Award best-picture nomination remains speculation; no nomination is established by these weekend figures.
What did industry observers say about the result?
David A. Gross, publisher of the box-office newsletter FranchiseRe, told the Associated Press that A24 had reportedly invested $7 million in what he called an “interesting but complicated idea without a beginning, middle or end.” He characterized its theatrical performance as a “zeitgeist film about money, dreams, truth and reality.”

That comment offers an interpretation of the film’s cultural response, not a separate accounting of revenue. The measurable results for this weekend remain the $19.5 million domestic gross, the 2,655-theater footprint and the $45,145,476 cumulative domestic total.

For viewers deciding whether to find a screening, the practical takeaway is that the film became much easier to find in its second weekend because of the expansion. For box-office analysis, the more cautious takeaway is that the total grew while the per-location average declined. The weekend demonstrates the effect of release scale, but it does not by itself reveal the motivations of the people who bought tickets.
