Spoilers for the U.S. Peacock edition: Chris “CT” Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella won The Traitors Season 2 as Faithfuls. They split the $208,100 prize, taking $104,050 each. If you mean the Indian adaptation instead, its second season had a different result: Traitors Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana shared ₹66 lakh.
“Season 2” usually means the U.S. edition on Peacock, hosted by Alan Cumming. In that version, CT and Trishelle were the last players standing after a final sequence that eliminated Sandra Diaz-Twine, exposed Kate Chastain as the last Traitor and then sent Mercedes “MJ” Javid home at the Fire of Truth. Both surviving players were Faithfuls, so the prize was divided equally.

How did the U.S. Season 2 finale unfold?
The final episode was decided in two stages: the last regular banishments and then the Fire of Truth, where the remaining players choose whether to stop or risk another elimination.
- Sandra Diaz-Twine was banished first. She was revealed to be a Faithful, reducing the endgame group to Kate, CT, Trishelle and MJ.
- The remaining players turned on Kate Chastain. CT, Trishelle and MJ voted to remove her. Kate’s reveal confirmed that she was the final Traitor still in the game.
- The Fire of Truth began with three players. CT, Trishelle and MJ had to decide whether they trusted the game was free of Traitors or wanted one more banishment.
- MJ voted to end the game. CT and Trishelle chose another banishment instead, producing a tied first vote.
- The revote eliminated MJ. MJ was revealed as a Faithful, leaving CT and Trishelle as the only players remaining.
- CT and Trishelle won together. With no Traitor left and both finalists still in the game, they divided the prize equally.
Why Kate’s elimination mattered
Kate was the last known Traitor in the finale. Removing her before the Fire of Truth meant the final decision was not about splitting the money with a Traitor; it was about whether CT, Trishelle and MJ could correctly judge one another’s roles. MJ’s failed attempt to stop the game is why the final Faithful elimination happened after Kate’s reveal.
How much money did CT and Trishelle win?
The U.S. Season 2 prize was $208,100. Because CT and Trishelle were the two survivors, each received $104,050. Those figures describe the announced prize split, not an estimate of what either winner ultimately kept after taxes or other personal obligations.

Were CT and Trishelle Faithfuls or Traitors?
They were Faithfuls. Their victory is significant because neither finalist needed to betray the other or conceal a Traitor identity at the last vote; the game ended with two correctly surviving Faithfuls.
That result also explains why MJ’s final decision was so costly. She believed the game should end, while CT and Trishelle believed another Traitor might still be present. Their willingness to continue produced the revote that removed MJ and left the two eventual winners.

Who was the last Traitor in Season 2?
Kate Chastain was the last Traitor remaining in the U.S. finale. The final players voted her out before the Fire of Truth, and her reveal confirmed that the group had identified the final Traitor correctly.
Kate’s elimination did not itself award the prize. The rules still required the surviving players to make the endgame decision, which is why the Fire of Truth and MJ’s subsequent banishment determined the final two.

Why do some articles name different Season 2 winners?
The Traitors is an international format, so “Season 2” is not a single worldwide season. The U.S. edition streams on Peacock and uses Alan Cumming as host; the Indian adaptation is a separate production hosted by Karan Johar. Search results that do not specify a country or platform can therefore mix two unrelated finales.
The Indian adaptation’s Season 2 result
In the Indian version’s second season, Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana won as Traitors and shared ₹66 lakh. The Indian Express reported that result in 2026. It is not a correction to the U.S. result: it belongs to a different cast, host, currency and edition.

Where can you watch the U.S. Season 2 finale?
Peacock is the streaming home identified for the U.S. series, including its Season 2 weekly recap and finale coverage. Availability, subscription requirements and catalog access can vary by country, so viewers outside the United States should check the service offered in their region rather than assume the Peacock catalog is identical everywhere.

What should you remember about the ending?
- CT and Trishelle are the U.S. Peacock Season 2 winners.
- Both winners were Faithfuls, not Traitors.
- The announced $208,100 prize was split into two $104,050 shares.
- Kate was the final Traitor eliminated before the Fire of Truth.
- MJ was the last Faithful eliminated after the tied vote and revote.
- Different winner names refer to the Indian adaptation, where Krystle and Rida won as Traitors.
What does the finale reveal about the show’s endgame?
The U.S. Season 2 ending separates two questions that are easy to conflate: identifying the last Traitor and deciding whether the game should stop. Kate’s reveal answered the first question, but MJ’s vote showed that the Faithfuls still had to agree on the second. CT and Trishelle won because they chose to test the endgame one more time and then survived the resulting vote.
Frequently Asked Questions
What did Peacock say about the U.S. Season 2 winners?
Peacock’s winner retrospective described CT Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella as Faithfuls throughout the competition. That wording confirms their roles across the season rather than merely describing the status they held at the final reveal.
Can the U.S. and Indian prizes be compared directly?
Not as a like-for-like cash ranking. The U.S. amount is stated in dollars and the Indian amount in lakh rupees; an exchange-rate conversion would depend on the date used and would not account for each country’s tax rules or payment terms.
Is the official Traitors board game about CT and Trishelle’s season?
No. The officially licensed board game recreates the general Faithful-versus-Traitor format and is not a Season 2 winner-specific edition. Buying it does not provide footage, episodes or memorabilia tied to the U.S. finale.
Why might a headline say the winners were Traitors?
That wording most likely refers to the Indian adaptation’s second season, not the Peacock season. Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana won that edition as Traitors, while the U.S. winners CT and Trishelle were Faithfuls.
