A Martindale-Hubbell directory listing identifies Yakub as a University of Virginia graduate who earned a J.D. from the University of Miami in 2004. The same listing records bar admissions in Florida in 2004 and Washington, D.C., in 2007. Directory information is useful for credential context, but it should not be read as proof of his current employment or present professional status.
How Margaret Brennan and Yado Yakub met

Their engagement and 2015 wedding

In 2018, Brennan publicly announced that she and Yakub were expecting their first child. CBS News identified Yakub as her husband and referred to him at the time as a Marine Corps major.
People, in reporting republished by AOL, identified the couple’s first son as Eamon and reported that their second son, Malek Murphy, was born in April 2021.
