Sab Zada is best described as Jaden Smith’s former girlfriend. The pair were first publicly linked in September 2020, appeared together repeatedly through 2024, and attended the Los Angeles premiere of Bad Boys: Ride or Die that May. Reports in August 2024 said they had apparently split after Smith was photographed kissing model Khleopatre in Ibiza. No searched source confirms a later reconciliation or identifies a currently confirmed girlfriend for Smith, so it would be inaccurate to present Sab Zada as his current partner.
Who is Sab Zada?
Sab Zada, also reported as Sabrina Zada, is described in entertainment coverage as a model, social-media influencer and musician. She uses the online name Pasabist and has been reported as represented by Select Model Management. Her public work combines fashion and beauty posts with music and lifestyle content.
Zada’s music includes the EP Hafren, reported as a 2023 release, and the single “Signs.” Profiles have also described cooking and activism-related material on her social accounts. Those descriptions reflect what she posts publicly; they should not be treated as an independently verified list of organizations, policy positions or formal campaigns.
A South China Morning Post profile in 2024 reported that Zada had about 950,000 Instagram followers. That was a publisher-reported count at the time, not a permanent or currently verified total. Social-media audience figures can change quickly, and the number should be read as a dated snapshot rather than a biography credential.

Are Jaden Smith and Sab Zada still together?
Available reporting describes Smith and Zada as having apparently split in August 2024. The reports followed photographs of Smith kissing model Khleopatre on a yacht in Ibiza. They establish a public incident and the subsequent reporting about the couple’s status, but they do not establish the private cause of the breakup.
Neither the cited coverage nor the searched material supplies a direct interview in which Smith or Zada explains what happened. It is therefore more accurate to say “former girlfriend” or “the pair were reported to have split in August 2024” than to state that cheating was proven. There is also no searched, authoritative statement confirming that they reconciled later or identifying another current partner for Smith.
When did Jaden Smith and Sab Zada start dating?
The earliest public link in the available reporting is a September 2020 photograph of Smith and Zada holding hands outside a Los Angeles movie theater. A photograph can show that two people were together in public, but it does not by itself establish the exact date a private relationship began or whether they had already defined it as a relationship.

| Date | Public evidence | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| September 2020 | Smith and Zada were photographed holding hands outside a Los Angeles movie theater. | The first widely reported public link between them; not a documented private start date. |
| February 2022 | They were photographed together at Disneyland’s Sweetheart’s Nite. Us Weekly also reported that Zada supported Smith during the family’s Oscars controversy. | They remained publicly connected and were appearing together in a personal setting. |
| April 2022 | Us Weekly quoted an unnamed source saying, “They’re very much in love and talk about everything.” | A source characterized the relationship positively; the quote was not a direct statement from Smith or Zada. |
| 2023 | Coverage continued to describe them as dating. Zada’s Hafren EP was reported as released during the year. | The relationship was still being reported publicly, while Zada continued her music work. |
| February 2024 | Smith shared photos with Zada on social media and captioned them, according to Capital XTRA, “Album soon I been distracted.” | A public social-media appearance showing continued closeness at that point; the caption is not a formal relationship statement. |
| April–May 2024 | They were photographed at Coachella and attended the Los Angeles premiere of Bad Boys: Ride or Die. | The pair were publicly appearing together only months before the breakup reports. |
| July 2024 | For Smith’s birthday, SCMP reproduced Zada’s Instagram wording: “I love you and I’m grateful gravity was on the right side of history to bring us together.” | A highly affectionate public message at that time, rather than evidence of what happened afterward. |
| August 2024 | Yahoo’s syndicated People report and a later Legit.ng relationship-history article described an apparent split after photographs of Smith kissing Khleopatre in Ibiza. | The basis for describing Zada as a former girlfriend; the private cause and exact breakup date remain unconfirmed. |
How long did Jaden Smith and Sab Zada date?
If September 2020 is used as the first public link and August 2024 as the month of the reported split, their publicly documented connection spans almost four years. That is a measurement of the period covered by sightings and reports, not a guaranteed count of every month they were privately together.
The evidence is uneven across that period. Some entries are photographs, some are social-media posts, and others are statements attributed to unnamed or secondary sources. Those forms of evidence can show public association and changing visibility, but they cannot establish every private break, reconciliation or conversation.
What happened between Jaden Smith and Sab Zada?
The immediate public trigger for the August 2024 reports was Smith being photographed kissing Khleopatre in Ibiza. Coverage then described the Smith–Zada relationship as over or apparently over. Zada’s reaction and the surrounding reports are part of the public record, but the sources do not provide a direct account from either person explaining the reason for the separation.

A photograph can document what happened in a specific place and moment; it cannot, on its own, establish the terms of a relationship, whether the couple had already separated, or what either person understood the encounter to mean. For that reason, claims that infidelity was definitively proven go beyond the available evidence.

The Yahoo page carrying the People report has a 2023 date in its search metadata even though its text discusses events in August 2024. What does Sab Zada do besides appearing in relationship coverage?
Zada’s public identity is not limited to being associated with Smith. Modeling is one part of her work, and profiles identify Select Model Management as her representation. Her Pasabist accounts have also been used for fashion, beauty and lifestyle publishing, giving her a separate audience from Smith’s entertainment career.
Music is another documented part of her work. The 2023 EP Hafren and the single “Signs” are specifically identified in the available profiles. The release date for Hafren is reported as 2023; the material supplied for this article does not provide a track list, label information or later discography, so those details should not be inferred.

Descriptions of activism on her social channels should be understood as descriptions of her own posts. They do not, without additional documentation, prove an official role in a cause or organization. This is the same reason a follower count or an affectionate caption is useful context but not a complete account of a private life.

How public was the relationship?
Smith and Zada did not rely on one single announcement to define their relationship. Visibility accumulated through candid photographs, event appearances, social-media posts and entertainment reporting. Their presence at Disneyland, Coachella and the Bad Boys: Ride or Die premiere made the relationship observable to the public, while Smith’s February 2024 post and Zada’s July birthday message supplied direct social-media evidence of closeness.
Even so, public visibility is not the same as complete confirmation. The April 2022 “very much in love” description came from an unnamed Us Weekly source, and the breakup account is based on photographs and secondary reports. The safest summary distinguishes direct posts and sightings from statements attributed to sources, and distinguishes both from facts about the couple’s private arrangements.
What is confirmed, and what remains uncertain?
- Well documented: public sightings beginning in September 2020; appearances together in 2022 and 2024; Smith’s February 2024 social post; their attendance at the May 2024 Los Angeles premiere; and Zada’s July 2024 birthday message.
- Reported but source-dependent: the April 2022 description that they were “very much in love,” Zada’s support during the Oscars controversy, and the August 2024 report that the relationship ended after the Ibiza photographs.
- Not established by the available material: the exact private start date, the precise breakup date, the reason for the breakup, whether either person considered the Ibiza encounter cheating, or whether they later reconciled.
This evidence-based wording avoids turning an entertainment report into a claim about facts that only Smith and Zada could confirm. It also explains why current-status stories should use “former girlfriend” rather than asserting that Smith has no girlfriend at all.

Profiles use both Sab Zada and Sabrina Zada when referring to the same public figure, while her online name is Pasabist. “Sab” is the shorter name used in entertainment coverage and social-media branding; “Sabrina” appears in fuller biographical references. Using both names helps readers match reports without assuming they describe different people.

What should readers know about claims of a current girlfriend?
The available reporting does not support a definitive statement about Smith’s present relationship status. A former-couple timeline can be documented through dated sightings and posts, but the absence of a later public confirmation is not proof that someone is single. Any newer claim would need a direct statement or a clearly dated, reliable report rather than inference from old photographs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do articles call the breakup an “apparent split” instead of a confirmed breakup?
The phrase reflects the evidence: photographs and secondary reports indicate that the relationship was treated as over, but neither Smith nor Zada supplied a direct breakup announcement in the available coverage. It avoids claiming knowledge of a private decision that the sources do not document.
Does the Ibiza photograph prove that Jaden Smith cheated?
No. It documents Smith kissing Khleopatre in Ibiza, while the reports do not establish whether Smith and Zada had already ended their relationship or what boundaries they had agreed on. Calling cheating proven goes beyond the published evidence.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWhere did Sab Zada’s stage name Pasabist come from?
Pasabist is the online name associated with Zada’s public social-media and creative work. The available profiles identify the name but do not provide a confirmed explanation of its origin.
Is the reported 950,000 Instagram followers figure still current?
It was a South China Morning Post count reported in 2024. Because follower totals change continuously, that figure should be treated as historical context rather than a live measurement.
Did Jaden Smith and Sab Zada ever announce their relationship officially?
The documented record is made up primarily of public appearances, photographs, social posts and attributed entertainment reporting rather than a formal joint announcement. Those materials show a sustained public association without defining every private stage of the relationship.
