Mayfair Witches season 2 premiered in the United States on January 5, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC and AMC+. The eight-episode season concluded on March 2, 2025, and AMC+ currently lists every episode. The story follows Rowan Mayfair (Alexandra Daddario) after she gives birth to the demon Lasher (Jack Huston). Sip, an investigator connected to the Talamasca, takes the opposite position. He is “hell-bent on capturing” Lasher, according to AMC+ episode copy, and his pursuit creates the season’s central power struggle. Rowan must balance her desire to study and protect Lasher against the damage his existence causes. When tragedy strikes, her priority shifts from controlling his destiny to keeping her relatives alive.
The season also widens the show’s geography and mythology. AMC Networks renewed the series for a third season on April 9, 2025. The announced setting is Salem, Massachusetts, and Esta Spalding and Thomas Schnauz are the co-showrunners. AMC’s July 2026 teaser announcement says the season is planned for 2027 and lists returning stars Alexandra Daddario, Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa, and Alyssa Jirrels, alongside new cast members.
