Peacock’s episode guide describes a cycle built around Battle Royale challenges, weekly Supervillain power, Hit List nominations, Redemption Challenges and banishment. The mechanics make the central strategic questions clear: who can win power and protection, who influences the people placed at risk, and who ultimately avoids elimination.

Challenges and power
Battle Royale challenges offer a route to becoming the weekly Supervillain. That role gives a contestant influence over the next stage of the game, while challenge outcomes shape who has protection and who faces danger.
Nominations and redemption
The Supervillain selects contestants for the Hit List. Those at risk then have a chance to compete in a Redemption Challenge, with banishment the consequence for the contestant who does not survive the process. In practical terms, the format rewards more than challenge strength: social alliances and the ability to avoid becoming a target matter too.

These are strategic stakes implied by the published format, not claims about independently observed gameplay or any contestant’s specific decisions.
When did season 2 premiere?
Peacock announced a 75-minute season premiere for October 16, 2024, with episode two scheduled for October 17. The announcement said subsequent episodes would air Thursdays on E! and stream on Peacock the following week. This is the schedule as announced for the season, not a current listing of future airings.

The current episode listing displays episode one at 54 minutes and episode two at 42 minutes. Those runtimes differ from the announcement’s description of a “75-minute season premiere”; the available sources do not explain the difference, so the figures should not be treated as the same runtime measure.
