The Day of the Devs: The Game Awards Digital Showcase 2025 has ended. It aired on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 1 p.m. ET, and the official replay is available on YouTube. The roughly hour-long indie showcase was separate from The Game Awards ceremony, which took place on December 11.

How to interpret the announcements
The showcase’s “world premiere” language comes from event promotion and post-show coverage. It does not automatically mean that a title had never been publicly discussed before the broadcast.

Likewise, a release-date announcement can mean a fixed launch date, a release window, an early-access date or a platform-specific launch. Check the individual game’s official page and platform listing before treating a date as universal across PC and consoles.

The event’s “indie” framing describes the showcase’s focus; it does not mean every featured project has the same legal status, publisher arrangement or business model. Day of the Devs says its showcases are free for developers and are intended to spotlight games and the people who make them.

Day of the Devs is a nonprofit showcase organization founded by Double Fine Productions and iam8bit in 2012. Its programs highlight independent games and their developers, giving smaller or less widely known projects a concentrated presentation around major industry events.

Is the Day of the Devs: The Game Awards 2025 livestream still live?
