The 2025 Super Bowl halftime show is no longer live. Kendrick Lamar headlined the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show, with SZA as a guest, on February 9, 2025. In the United States, viewers could watch the live Fox broadcast free on Tubi or receive their local Fox station with an antenna. To watch the performance now, use the NFL’s official YouTube replay.

The easiest way to watch the performance today is the NFL’s official YouTube upload of Kendrick Lamar’s Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show. It is a replay, not a live stream. Check that the uploader is the NFL before playing a video; unofficial clips and reaction videos are not the same full-performance upload.
The NFL also has a video page for the full performance. The live game broadcast and halftime show took place at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans during Super Bowl LIX.
How U.S. viewers watched live in 2025
For the February 9, 2025 broadcast, Fox carried Super Bowl LIX in the United States. The principal free internet option was Tubi’s ad-supported stream of the Fox broadcast, which included the game and halftime show; it was not a separate halftime-only feed. The Associated Press reported that Tubi streamed the Super Bowl without a paid live-TV subscription.

Tubi
At the time, viewers could open Tubi, find the live-TV section or search for the Super Bowl, and select the Fox/Tubi event stream when available. Tubi was free to watch and ad-supported, but access depended on being in a supported market and using a compatible device with an internet connection. It was a way to watch the complete broadcast, not just the performance.
If the stream did not appear, possible causes included location restrictions, an outdated app, looking in the on-demand catalog instead of live TV, or temporary congestion. Updating or restarting the app, or trying Tubi in a supported browser or another compatible device, could help. Those steps cannot restore a live event after it has ended; use the NFL replay instead.

Fox with a TV antenna
A digital antenna could receive a local Fox affiliate without a streaming subscription, provided the household was within reception range. Connect the antenna, scan for channels in the television’s settings, and tune to the local Fox station. This is free over-the-air television, not an internet stream, and reception depends on location, antenna placement and signal conditions. The FCC’s antenna and digital-TV guide explains the basics.
Live-TV streaming services
Services including Fubo, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV were also listed as ways to watch Fox in eligible markets around the event. They are live-TV subscriptions, not permanently free alternatives. Any promotional trial depended on the offer and eligibility at the time; a trial could require payment details and automatically renew. Viewers needed to check local Fox availability and cancellation terms before signing up. These services are not a sensible purchase solely to watch a 2025 performance that is already available as a replay.

When did the halftime show start?
Super Bowl LIX kickoff was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Halftime did not have a guaranteed clock time: it came after the first half, whose length varied with the game, stoppages, penalties and reviews. Contemporary coverage estimated the performance would begin about 1½ to 2 hours after kickoff, but that was only an estimate, not a fixed start time. CBS Sports’ viewing guide likewise treated the timing as approximate. For a live event, the practical approach was to start the broadcast before kickoff and leave it running rather than joining at a predicted minute.
Who performed?
Kendrick Lamar headlined the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show, and SZA appeared as a guest. Apple Music was the show’s presenting sponsor, but viewers did not need an Apple Music subscription to watch the Fox or Tubi television broadcast. The CBS News performer coverage identifies SZA as a guest; the official NFL replay is the straightforward way to see the performance now.

Can you watch only the halftime performance?
During the live event, the legitimate free options generally carried the full Super Bowl broadcast, so viewers had to tune in and wait for halftime. Now that the game is over, the NFL’s official YouTube replay is better suited to anyone who wants the performance without replaying the whole game. Be cautious of sites promising a separate “official free live halftime stream” unless they point to a verified NFL, Fox, Tubi or other rights-holder property.
Availability outside the United States
The Fox and Tubi instructions above apply to the U.S. broadcast described here; they should not be assumed to work worldwide. Super Bowl broadcast and streaming rights vary by country, and these viewing details do not establish which service carried the game in any particular international market. The NFL replay is the most direct option in this guide, though video availability can still vary by location or change over time.
