Severance Season 2 streams on Apple TV, and there is no verified permanent, ad-supported free stream. In the U.S., Apple currently advertises a seven-day free trial for eligible subscribers, then $12.99 per month. Other no-additional-cost routes may be available through an eligible new Apple device, a verified student plan, or Family Sharing. Season 2 premiered on January 17, 2025, and is available on demand. Where to watch Severance Season 2
Apple TV is the official streaming home for Severance. You can watch through the Apple TV app or at Apple’s U.S. TV website, on supported Apple and non-Apple devices, including smart TVs, streaming devices, game consoles, Android and Windows devices. You do not need an Apple TV 4K hardware box. The app is free to download, but downloading it alone does not unlock subscription shows; you need an Apple TV subscription or another eligible entitlement. Use Apple TV’s seven-day free trial
Apple’s U.S. offer page currently lists seven days free, followed by $12.99 per month. The trial is for new or otherwise eligible subscribers, not a guaranteed offer for every account. The offer displayed to you is the one to rely on: prior subscription history, account status, device, promotion and region can affect eligibility. A valid payment method is generally required, and the subscription renews automatically unless canceled. Check Apple’s current U.S. offer before signing up.

- Sign in with your Apple Account, or create one if needed.
- Select the Apple TV subscription or free-trial offer shown for your account.
- Add or confirm a valid payment method, then start the trial.
- Search for Severance, open Season 2 and note the trial’s end and renewal date shown in your account.
- If you do not want a paid subscription, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, as Apple’s Media Services terms advise.
Because Season 2 is complete, the trial gives access to the released season on demand rather than only the episodes available during a weekly rollout. Whether you can finish in seven days depends on when you start and your account’s actual trial dates.
Check for three months included with an Apple device
Apple advertises three months of Apple TV with an eligible Apple device on its U.S. service page. The page states that the offer must currently be redeemed within 90 days of purchasing or setting up the device. Check the offer and terms shown for your device: refurbished or previously activated products, prior promotions and other eligibility rules may affect access.

- Set up the eligible new device and sign in with the associated Apple Account.
- Open the Apple TV app and look for the promotional offer.
- Accept it before the displayed redemption deadline.
- Confirm the renewal price and date, then cancel before renewal if you do not want to continue.
This is most useful if you already intend to buy a qualifying device. Buying hardware just to watch one season is not a cost-saving approach.
Students: Apple TV access comes with a student plan
Students who verify enrollment in an eligible degree-granting higher-education program can subscribe to the Apple Music Student Plan, which includes Apple TV access at no additional charge for a limited time. It is not a standalone free Apple TV subscription: beyond any introductory trial, the student benefit is attached to a paid music plan. Apple says eligibility must be reverified, the subscription can last up to 48 months subject to continued eligibility, and the Apple TV access cannot be shared through Family Sharing. - Select Verify Student Status and complete the verification process.
- Start the eligible plan and open the Apple TV app using the same Apple Account.
- Check the plan’s renewal date and terms before relying on it for the season.
Use Family Sharing if a family-group member subscribes
An Apple TV subscription can be shared through Family Sharing with up to five other family members, for six people total in the group. Ask the subscriber to configure Family Sharing and share Apple TV; then use your own Apple Account to open the app. Do not use or request the subscriber’s password. Apple’s subscription instructions explain how to subscribe and share access.
If you already pay for an individual Apple TV subscription and join a family group that shares the service, Apple says the individual subscription is not renewed at its next billing date. Check your account’s subscriptions and billing status rather than assuming a change takes effect immediately.

Avoid an unwanted renewal charge
Apple subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. Apple’s terms advise canceling at least 24 hours before a free trial ends to avoid a renewal charge. Use the renewal date and cancellation instructions displayed by the account or platform that billed you; signup and cancellation paths can differ when you subscribe through a third party.
- After canceling, check that the subscription status changed and note the displayed expiration date.
- Save the confirmation email or a screenshot of the cancellation status.
- Apple says a free trial generally cannot be reactivated after you cancel it before the trial ends.
For Apple’s terms, see Apple Media Services. If the offer button is missing, check whether you are signed into the right Apple Account, already have an active subscription, previously used a trial, or are outside the promotion’s region or eligibility rules.

Apple’s U.S. offer page lists $12.99 per month after the seven-day trial, as checked August 18, 2026. For someone who only wants Severance, a single month followed by cancellation is simpler than buying an unnecessary device or subscribing to a bundle for services they do not want. Apple One and Apple TV-and-Peacock bundles cost more than one month of Apple TV and are worth considering only if you already want the additional services.
Skip unofficial free-streaming sites
Unlicensed streams, torrents and mirror sites are not legitimate ways to watch the season. They may also be unreliable or expose you to phishing, malware, deceptive player downloads or suspicious browser extensions. Stick to Apple TV or an eligible trial, plan or shared subscription.
