YouTube describes two broad encoder choices: software running on a computer and standalone hardware. - Open YouTube Studio. Select Create → Go live, then choose an immediate or scheduled stream.
- Set the broadcast details. Enter a clear Hindi title, description, thumbnail, category, visibility, and any audience settings that apply to your channel. Explain that the feed is prerecorded karaoke if that is what viewers will see.
- Choose the encoder workflow. YouTube can show an encoder preset, or you can copy the Live Control Room’s stream URL and stream key into your software or hardware encoder.

Schedule the public launch only after the unlisted test is clean. Keep a named operator or on-call contact responsible for responding to a dropped feed, rights warning, or encoder failure.
What does YouTube do when it detects copyrighted music?
YouTube scans every live stream for third-party matches. Its Help guidance states: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If a match is detected, YouTube may place a placeholder over the feed, warn you, interrupt the stream, or terminate it.
A license does not guarantee that the live feed will remain online. YouTube specifically tells licensees to ask the rights owner to put the channel on its Content ID allowlist, and says a stream can still be interrupted without allowlisting even when the use is licensed or restricted to particular territories. Give the owner your channel details exactly as requested and confirm that the allowlist covers the actual channel running the 24/7 broadcast.

If a stream is archived, Content ID claims can also arrive after the live event ends. Keep a log of the matched track, territory, owner, notice, and your response. If a rights owner cannot confirm live permission and allowlisting, remove that track from the rotation rather than assuming a dispute will keep the channel online.

How do I operate a live stream continuously?
Design for failure instead of assuming that “24/7” means uninterrupted service. A robust runbook should include:
- Restart procedure: document how to restart the encoder, reopen the playlist, reconnect the stream key, and confirm the YouTube preview.
- Power protection: use suitable surge protection or backup power for the computer, encoder, router, and storage. Test the restart sequence after a simulated outage.

The encoder connects, then disconnects
Check upload stability, router logs, dropped-frame indicators, and whether the computer is sleeping or installing updates. Reconnect with the same stream key, then test a backup network and document the restart sequence.
The preview is black or frozen
Confirm that the correct media source and scene are active, the file path is available, and hardware acceleration has not failed. Open the source locally, replace a damaged file, and run another unlisted test before relaunching.
Audio is missing, clipped, or out of sync
Inspect the encoder’s audio source, meters, sample-rate handling, and per-file loudness. Replace or re-render the offending asset and check the beginning, middle, and transition into the next track.

YouTube shows a copyright warning
Identify the matched recording, stop or replace the track if permission is uncertain, and contact the rights owner about written live authorization and Content ID allowlisting.
