Yes—Peacock offered a four-way Olympic viewing experience for the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Its Discovery Multiview showed up to four live events on one screen, while a separate Traditional Multiview grouped feeds from one sport. The concept resembled YouTube TV’s Multiview, but Peacock presented curated Olympic combinations rather than guaranteeing that viewers could freely assemble any four events. The Games ran from February 6 through February 22, 2026, so this is now a look back at a completed feature.
What Peacock’s Olympic Multiview offered
Peacock built Multiview for the Olympics’ crowded schedule, when skiing, skating, hockey, curling and snowboarding could be live at the same time. According to Peacock’s Olympic feature announcement, Discovery Multiview placed up to four different live Olympic events in a single view. See Peacock’s Olympic feature overview.
The service also promoted sport-focused viewing. Peacock’s 4K announcement described Traditional Multiview examples centered on sports such as curling and hockey: multiple feeds, but within one competition or sport rather than a cross-Games discovery screen.
| Experience | Best for | How it worked |
|---|---|---|
| Discovery Multiview | Following several sports at once | A curated combination of up to four live Olympic events |
| Traditional Multiview | Staying with one sport | Multiple feeds focused on a sport or competition, such as curling or hockey |
| Gold Zone | Letting producers find the action | A separate whip-around program that moved between important live moments |
Gold Zone was not a four-panel layout. It was a producer-led stream, returning after its popularity during the 2024 Paris Games. Viewers who wanted to monitor specific events needed Multiview; viewers who wanted someone else to select the biggest moments could use Gold Zone.

Was it really like YouTube TV?
“YouTube TV-style” accurately describes the basic idea—several live streams visible together—but not necessarily the controls. YouTube’s official documentation describes Multiview as a way to watch multiple streams simultaneously, while Peacock’s Olympic announcements emphasized discovery and curated selections. Peacock did not clearly promise unrestricted, event-by-event construction of any four Olympic feeds.
That distinction matters. The verified Peacock claim is up to four live events in one view. It is not a verified claim that a viewer could always choose any four events available on the service. The exact choices could depend on the live schedule, NBCUniversal’s feed selection and the Multiview mode.
YouTube TV remained the more natural comparison for viewers who already wanted a broader live-channel bundle and expected user-directed Multiview. Peacock’s advantage was its Olympic-specific hub, event streams, replays, clips, schedules and medal information in the same service. YouTube TV should not be treated as a substitute for Peacock’s complete U.S. Olympic streaming package without checking the rights for a particular Games edition.

Which Olympic coverage was included?
For viewers in the United States, NBCUniversal positioned Peacock as the comprehensive streaming destination for Milan Cortina 2026. Its coverage included live sports and events, NBC programming, replays, clips, Gold Zone and the Olympic navigation features described above. The official viewing guide is available from NBC Sports.

Peacock specifically highlighted sports including snowboarding, figure skating, curling and hockey. That does not mean every individual feed was available in every Multiview combination; availability depended on the schedule and the curated presentation.
NBCUniversal also announced selected 4K HDR coverage on February 8, 2026, alongside Super Bowl LX. That announcement did not establish that every Olympic event, replay or Multiview tile was delivered in 4K.

How viewers accessed Multiview during the Games
The menu was tied to the Olympic hub and could vary by device. The practical path was:
- Open Peacock in the app or a supported web browser.
- Enter the Olympics or Olympic sports hub.
- Look for a Discovery Multiview, Traditional Multiview or sport-specific Multiview tile.
- Choose the curated presentation, then use any on-screen focus or event controls offered on that device.
- If no Multiview tile appeared, open the sport hub or search directly for the event.
Peacock’s official pages establish the feature and its broad behavior, but not a single device-by-device control map. Labels and layouts could differ with the app version, operating system and television interface. Since the 2026 Games ended February 22, 2026, the live Olympic Multiview hub should not be assumed to remain active.

The sports-inclusive tier was required. Peacock’s current U.S. plan page lists Select as excluding sports, making it unsuitable for Olympic live events or Multiview. The prices below were observed on the current plan page and are not verified as the prices charged during February 2026.

| Plan | Monthly price shown | Annual price shown | Sports | Advertising |

| Select | $7.99 | $79.99 | Excluded | Ads |
| Premium | $10.99 | $109.99 | Included | Ads |
| Premium Plus | $16.99 | $169.99 | Included | Fewer ads, with exceptions |
Peacock’s plan page says Premium Plus is not absolutely ad-free: advertising may remain in live sports, live events, channels and some programming. Premium was therefore the relevant entry-level plan for Olympic streaming; Premium Plus mainly addressed advertising and downloads, not a separate Olympic rights package.

Peacock lists support for current Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari browsers; Android 7.0 or later; iPhone and iPad devices running iOS 16 or later; Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV HD (fourth generation or newer) with tvOS 18 or later; Chromecast and Google TV; selected LG, Samsung, Hisense and Vizio televisions; PlayStation 4 and 5; Xbox One and Series consoles; Xfinity and other listed provider boxes; and Meta Quest. The full list and minimum versions are on Peacock’s support page.
Device support does not prove that every Multiview layout looked identical everywhere. A four-way view is also easier to follow on a television, monitor or tablet than on a phone; that is a practical recommendation rather than a documented Peacock restriction.

What to do if Multiview was missing
- Check the date: a live tile disappears when the event or Games are no longer live.
- Check the hub: browse the Olympic or sport section instead of relying on the home screen.
- Check the plan: Select excluded sports.
- Update software: install the latest Peacock app and device operating-system updates.
- Try another supported device: a browser or television platform may expose a different interface.
- Search directly: the event may be available as an individual stream even when a curated Multiview tile is not.
If the expectation was to build four completely arbitrary feeds, the limitation was conceptual rather than necessarily technical: Peacock’s official language described a curated “up to four” experience, not unrestricted channel assembly.
What remains available after Milan Cortina 2026?
The 2026 Olympic live window is over. Peacock’s current Olympics destination now points toward the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles rather than presenting Milan Cortina as an active live event. Viewers may still find replays, clips or other Olympic programming where offered, but an article should not describe the 2026 Multiview as currently streaming live.
For a future Olympics, check the current Peacock Olympic hub, plan page and supported-device list before subscribing. Features, prices and menu labels can change between Games.
Peacock Multiview versus other options
| Option | Use it when | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Peacock | You want U.S. Olympic event coverage, replays and curated Multiview | Olympic Multiview was tied to the Games and was not documented as fully customizable |
| YouTube TV | You already want a broad live-TV service and its supported Multiview sports | It is not automatically a replacement for Peacock’s Olympic rights |
| Xfinity Multiview | You have eligible Comcast service or equipment | Comcast’s experience was separate and described up to four NBCUniversal channels, not Peacock’s app-based Olympic mode |
YouTube’s Multiview documentation is available at YouTube Help, and YouTube TV’s at YouTube TV Help. Comcast described its separate Olympic product in its Xfinity announcement.
The Bottom Line
Peacock did deliver a meaningful YouTube TV-like upgrade for Milan Cortina 2026: up to four live Olympic events could share one screen, with a separate sport-focused Multiview mode. The important caveat is control—official descriptions support curated combinations, not a promise that viewers could freely choose any four feeds. Premium was the lowest listed sports-inclusive plan, and the live feature ended with the Games on February 22, 2026.
