The festival screens seventy music documentaries from October 29 to November 8 at the Mooby Aribau Cinema. A selection from the 24th edition ranges from David Bowie’s final Blackstar period and Marianne Faithfull’s last interview to the Barcelona club anthem “Flying free,” with portraits of critics, photographers, local venues and activist musicians.
What does In-Edit 2026 offer?
ARA’s Xavier Cervantes recommends a cross-section of the 70-documentary programme rather than a single style of music film. The selection moves between artist biography, music criticism, club history, local scenes, social activism and musical geography. It also contrasts concert films, fictional investigations, observational portraits and archival or contextual work.
All dates below refer to screenings at Barcelona’s Mooby Aribau Cinema. Festival schedules can change, so check the official programme before travelling.
