Fallout Season 2 brings Lucy, Maximus and the Ghoul into the Mojave wasteland and New Vegas, with Justin Theroux joining as Robert House. Macaulay Culkin and Kumail Nanjiani also join the cast, but their character names have not been disclosed in the official material reviewed here.

Amazon’s update on the series’ next season identifies the six returning actor-character pairings. Its Season 2 viewing guide confirms the additions of Theroux, Culkin and Nanjiani; Time identifies Theroux as Robert House. Reporting by GamesRadar describes Culkin’s role but does not establish a character name in the reviewed material.
Who is Robert House, and who plays him?
Justin Theroux plays Robert House in Season 2. House is a New Vegas power broker and RobCo figure, making the character a natural connection to the season’s destination. Theroux’s credit should not be confused with Rafi Silver’s association with an earlier on-screen presentation of House: they are separate performers and credits.

What are Culkin and Nanjiani’s characters called?
The reviewed official Season 2 material confirms Macaulay Culkin and Kumail Nanjiani are additions to the cast, but it does not give both newcomers confirmed character names. Reporting describes Culkin’s part as a recurring “crazy genius”-type role without establishing a name. For Nanjiani, Amazon’s official guide confirms the casting addition but does not map him to a named character. Naming either role more specifically would go beyond what these sources confirm.
Where does Season 2 take place?
Amazon describes the season as picking up after Season 1’s finale and taking the characters through the Mojave wasteland to post-apocalyptic New Vegas. The series is set more than 200 years after the apocalypse. Lucy’s story began in Vault 33; Bethesda’s franchise description says she leaves home after the vault fails to protect her family. The shift toward New Vegas brings the returning characters into a setting associated with House and the wider Fallout world.

Do not confuse the Season 2 newcomers with the next-season additions. Amazon identifies Aaron Paul, Emily Mortimer, Manny Jacinto and Thomasin McKenzie as Season 3 additions, not Season 2 cast members.
