Spoilers for The Bachelor Season 28: No. Daisy Kent does not win Joey Graziadei’s season. She receives Joey’s first one-on-one date, becomes one of his final two women, meets his family and leaves before the proposal. Joey chooses Kelsey Anderson in the March 25, 2024 finale, and Kelsey accepts his final rose and proposal.
Daisy’s early momentum made her a serious contender, but the first date was not a guarantee of the final outcome. Her story ends with her recognizing that Joey’s strongest feelings are directed toward Kelsey.

Does Daisy Kent win The Bachelor Season 28?
Daisy finishes as the runner-up, not the winner. She is the first woman Joey selects for a one-on-one date, receives a rose on that date, returns for another one-on-one later in the season and reaches the final two. However, she leaves before Joey’s proposal ceremony because she believes he is going to choose Kelsey Anderson.
Joey then proposes to Kelsey, who accepts. That makes Kelsey the Season 28 winner and Daisy the finalist who exits immediately before the engagement.

What happened on Daisy’s first one-on-one date with Joey?
Joey chose Daisy for the season’s first one-on-one in Episode 2, which aired January 29, 2024. Their date began with a helicopter flight to the Beach Life Music Festival. They danced, kissed and spent the day together before continuing the conversation during the evening portion.
The night portion became important because Daisy discussed her hearing-loss history, cochlear implant and health experiences with Joey. The conversation gave viewers more context about her life beyond the date activities, while Joey responded by treating the disclosure as part of getting to know her rather than as a reason to pull away.
Joey gave Daisy a rose at the end of the date. He also said, “After this first date tonight, I could see Daisy being someone I end up with at the end of all of this.” That statement established Daisy as an early frontrunner, but it was an expression of potential rather than a promise about the finale.
How did Daisy’s relationship with Joey develop after the first date?
Daisy remained prominent as the season progressed and received a second one-on-one date in Jasper. The additional date showed that Joey’s interest was not limited to the novelty of meeting her first. Their relationship had an established emotional foundation before the final weeks.
Even so, the season presented a difference between an early spark and the late-stage certainty Joey needed before proposing. Daisy’s connection started quickly and visibly, while the final episodes focused on whether Joey could make a clear choice between two relationships that had developed in different ways.

Were Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson Joey’s final two?
Yes. Daisy and Kelsey were the two women who remained for the final dates and family visits. Their paths to that point were not identical, which is why the finale did not simply reward whoever had the earliest or most dramatic date.
| Comparison | Daisy Kent | Kelsey Anderson |
|---|---|---|
| Early timing | Received Joey’s first one-on-one and an immediate connection. | Had her first one-on-one later in the season, in Spain. |
| Season development | Stayed in contention, received a second one-on-one and reached the final two. | Built a relationship that gained stronger late-season validation. |
| Final-date signal | Left her final date uncertain about Joey’s feelings. | Received reassurance from Joey during her final date. |
| Finale result | Exited before the proposal. | Received Joey’s proposal and accepted the final rose. |
The contrast matters because Daisy’s early lead and Kelsey’s later reassurance pointed in different directions. By the finale, Joey’s behavior gave Kelsey the stronger indication that he was ready to choose her.

What happened when Daisy met Joey’s family?
Daisy met Joey’s family during the final week, as Kelsey did. A family visit can confirm that a relationship works in a broader setting, but it does not determine which finalist receives the proposal.
After the family meetings and her final date, Daisy became increasingly unsure. Instead of treating her uncertainty as a temporary misunderstanding, she evaluated what Joey was communicating and concluded that his heart was with someone else. That realization led her to leave before the formal proposal rather than wait for Joey to reject her at the ceremony.
Why did Daisy leave before the proposal?
Daisy’s exit was based on her reading of the relationship, not on an earlier elimination. During the finale, she told Joey, “You’re not going to choose me.” The line captures the decision she had already reached: she believed Joey’s feelings for Kelsey were stronger and that remaining until the proposal would only delay an outcome she could see coming.

Leaving before the proposal also made Daisy’s finale different from a traditional second-place breakup. Joey did not present Daisy with a final rose and then immediately propose to Kelsey in front of her. Daisy removed herself from that ceremony after deciding that the relationship was no longer headed toward an engagement.

Joey chooses Kelsey Anderson. In the March 25, 2024 finale, Daisy departs before the proposal, Joey asks Kelsey to marry him and Kelsey accepts the final rose and engagement.
The outcome answers the season’s central question clearly: Daisy’s first-date advantage did not outweigh Joey’s stronger late-season connection with Kelsey. Kelsey becomes the official Season 28 winner, while Daisy finishes as the other finalist.
Did the first one-on-one date recipient win Joey’s season?
No. Daisy is the first one-on-one recipient and ultimately finishes second. The date gave her early visibility and a rose, and Joey described her as someone he could see at the end, but the season continued for several weeks and introduced competing relationships.
The result illustrates why the first one-on-one is a useful indicator of early interest rather than a reliable prediction of the winner. Joey’s decision depended on how each relationship developed through additional dates, family visits and the final week.

What did Daisy share about her life away from the show?
During Season 28, Daisy was presented as a 25-year-old Minnesota account executive and nonprofit owner. She spoke about hearing loss and living with a cochlear implant, and she connected those experiences to work helping other people with hearing loss.
Her public story also includes a children’s book, Daisy Doo: All The Sounds She Knew. Barnes & Noble lists the 2023 book as a 28-page hardcover with ISBN 9798988851714. It is a separate Daisy Kent project, not a prize or official tie-in to Joey’s season.
Where can you watch Joey and Daisy’s first date?
Episode access depends on your country, current licensing agreements and the service carrying Season 28 at the time you search. The official episode and storefront pages document access points, but streaming rights can change and regional availability is not universal.
For the most reliable result, look for Season 28 Episode 2 through the current official listing for the series in your region. The episode is the one featuring Joey and Daisy’s helicopter trip to the Beach Life Music Festival. If a listing has disappeared, it may reflect an expired regional right rather than a missing episode from the season.

What is the clearest answer for viewers deciding whether Daisy was “the winner”?
Daisy was the first major romantic connection of Joey’s season and a finalist, but she was not the winner. Calling her the first one-on-one winner would be misleading: she won that date’s rose, not the season’s final rose. Kelsey is the woman Joey selected for the engagement, and Daisy’s own decision to leave before the proposal confirms how the final choice unfolded.
