Yes—Crave is available on supported Amazon Fire TV Stick devices in Canada. You can install the standalone Crave app or, if you subscribe to Crave through Prime Video, watch it in the Prime Video app. The exact Fire Stick model and the country set for your Amazon account matter: Crave is a Canadian service, and not every older or imported device will show the app.
What you need
- A Fire TV Stick model supported by Crave. Check Crave’s current supported-device list before buying or using an older device.
- A Fire TV device and Amazon account set to Canada.
- An internet connection and current Fire TV software.
- A Crave subscription or an eligible subscription entitlement through a participating provider. The app is free to download, but downloading it does not provide a subscription.
Bell Media lists Amazon Fire TV among Crave’s supported platforms, and Bell identifies Fire TV Stick as a compatible streaming device. Compatibility can still vary by model and software version, so verify the particular device rather than assuming every Fire Stick works (Bell device guidance).
How to install Crave on a Fire Stick
- Connect your Fire TV Stick to the internet and open the Fire TV home screen.
- Choose Find or Search—the label depends on your Fire TV software—and search for Crave.
- Select the official Crave app published by Bell Media, then choose Get, Download or Install.
- Open Crave and choose the sign-in option. Enter the credentials associated with your Crave subscription, or follow the app’s on-screen activation instructions if it offers code-based sign-in.
- Choose a profile and start watching.

Use the sign-in route that matches your subscription
If you subscribed directly to Crave, sign in with that Crave account. If your access comes through Bell or another participating television or service provider, use the provider-linked sign-in route offered by Crave. Being a customer of a provider does not necessarily mean every device or receiver has the Crave app; check the provider’s eligibility details.

If you subscribed to Crave through Prime Video, open the Prime Video app and watch Crave there. A Prime Video subscription is managed by Amazon and should not be assumed to activate a separately purchased Crave account in the standalone app. Likewise, a Prime membership by itself does not automatically include a Crave subscription.

Crave Standard With Ads was announced for Prime Video subscriptions in Canada on October 1, 2025, and Crave Premium had previously launched through Prime Video Channels. The plans offered and their prices can change; check the relevant signup or checkout page for current terms rather than relying on launch prices (Bell Media announcement; Amazon announcement).
Why Crave may not appear in the Amazon Appstore
Start with location and device eligibility. Crave is available only in Canada, according to its official Canadian app listing. A Fire Stick set up for the U.S. market, an Amazon account with a U.S. country setting, or an imported device may show a different app catalogue. A Canadian subscriber travelling abroad may also encounter territorial limits on app availability or playback.

- Check the country setting. Confirm that the Amazon account and Fire TV marketplace are configured for Canada.
- Check the exact model. Compare it with Crave’s supported-device list, especially if the Stick is old or second-hand.
- Update Fire TV. Install available system updates, then restart the device and search again.
- Consider account or location conflicts. An imported device, mismatched account region or VPN can affect which apps are shown. VPN use is not an official workaround, and sideloading is not the recommended route: it can introduce update, sign-in or security problems.
- Check the billing route. If you bought Crave through Prime Video, search for it in Prime Video rather than expecting the standalone Crave app to recognize the subscription.
If Crave installs but will not play
First confirm that you are signing in through the route used to purchase the subscription. Then check for Fire TV and Crave app updates, test your internet connection, restart the Stick and, if the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app. Playback trouble can also stem from an unsupported or outdated model, a regional restriction, a temporary service issue or a device-specific playback problem; reinstalling is not guaranteed to fix those causes.
If the app reports an account, compatibility or playback error after these checks, contact Crave support. Bell also directs users with download, login, incompatible-device and playback problems to Crave’s support resources (Bell’s Crave help).

Other ways to watch Crave
A Fire Stick is not the only option. Crave lists support for other platforms, including Apple TV, Android TV, Chromecast, selected smart TVs, Roku, game consoles and participating television-provider platforms. Support depends on the specific model and region, so check Crave’s device list before relying on a particular device. Switching hardware will not remove Crave’s Canada-only availability limit.
