Spoilers for WandaVision episode 8. Entertainment outlets reported that leaked storyboard images depicted Wanda arriving at S.W.O.R.D. to ask for Vision’s body. Retrospective coverage says the finished episode kept that scene’s purpose but changed some dialogue, staging and the way Wanda was portrayed. The original files and their upload history have not been independently authenticated in the sources reviewed.
What the reported storyboards depicted
Reports published before the season finale described storyboard images for episode 8’s flashback to Wanda’s visit to S.W.O.R.D. She seeks access to Vision’s body so she can give him a proper burial. The scene helps explain why Wanda goes to the facility, and why the agency’s handling of Vision matters to the story.
The reports also described a more pointed version of Wanda’s exchange with S.W.O.R.D. One account said the boards included a longer objection about Tony Stark receiving attention while Vision did not; another described dialogue referencing Tony Stark, Natasha and the absence of memorials for Vision. These are lines attributed to the reported storyboard material, not independently authenticated production documents or testimony from a cast or crew member. Reel 360’s March 2, 2021 report and The Direct’s retrospective recount the material.
How the broadcast scene differed
According to The Direct, the reported boards differed from the aired episode in framing, dialogue and Wanda’s demeanor. The board version was described as sharper and more emotionally forceful; the finished scene played her more subdued and used only part of the reported dialogue. The basic dramatic purpose did not change: she wants Vision’s body to bury him.

Episode 8’s revelation gives the visit its context. In its February 27, 2021 recap, TheWrap says Hayward lied about Wanda taking Vision’s body: S.W.O.R.D. had retained and reassembled Vision without the Mind Stone. That is the aired episode’s plot, not evidence that the reported storyboard files are authentic.
Why reports give different accounts of the leak
The coverage does not establish a single, verified chain of custody or a definitive number of images. Reel 360 reported 16 boards that had appeared in an IMDb photo and were then shared on Reddit. The Direct later described 20 images posted by Twitter user @Veloso_off on February 13, 2021. The counts and circulation descriptions differ, and the sources do not resolve the discrepancy. Neither should be treated as proof that every image or quoted line is an authenticated production document.
