Amazon lists December 16, 2025 as its launch date, so the headline’s two-month countdown has passed. Season 3 is confirmed, but Amazon’s latest update gave no premiere date.
When did Walton Goggins return to Fallout?
Season 2 arrived on Prime Video on December 16, 2025, according to Amazon’s December 2025 lineup. The official trailer, published earlier on November 13, had advertised December 17; the later schedule listing gives December 16 as the date to use when reporting the release. The trailer is the source of the earlier date.
Both seasons are now available on Prime Video, according to Amazon’s June 19, 2026 update. Goggins returns as Cooper Howard/The Ghoul, alongside Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten. Amazon’s Season 2 catalog also lists the three as stars.
What happens in Season 2?
The story continues after Season 1’s finale and heads across the Mojave to New Vegas. Amazon describes the series as taking place 200 years after an apocalypse, following people from luxury fallout shelters who are forced to navigate the dangerous world above. Season 2 also features returning cast members Kyle MacLachlan and Frances Turner, with Justin Theroux, Macaulay Culkin, and Kumail Nanjiani among the newcomers, according to Amazon’s December lineup.

Aaron Paul, Emily Mortimer, Manny Jacinto, and Thomasin McKenzie are joining the cast.
