No. The fourth Tom Holland Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, opened in U.S. theaters on July 31, 2026—before Avengers: Doomsday, not between the fifth and sixth Avengers films. Doomsday is scheduled for December 18, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for December 17, 2027.
Where Spider-Man 4 falls in the release schedule
Sony’s official title is Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and the studio identifies it as Tom Holland’s fourth Spider-Man film. Sony also describes it as the last MCU release before Avengers: Doomsday. That places it before Avengers 5—not between Avengers 5 and Avengers 6.
| Film | Release date | Schedule position |
|---|---|---|
| Spider-Man: Brand New Day | July 31, 2026, U.S. theatrical release, per Disney’s July 25, 2026 announcement | Before Avengers: Doomsday |
| Avengers: Doomsday | December 18, 2026; Disney says it is exclusive to theaters | Avengers 5 |
| Avengers: Secret Wars | December 17, 2027, according to Variety’s report on Disney’s schedule changes | Avengers 6 |
The July 31, 2026 date has passed. Sony’s description of Brand New Day as the last MCU release before Doomsday makes the intended release order especially clear: Spider-Man’s film precedes both upcoming Avengers installments.
Why older release-date lists may differ
Disney originally had Avengers: Doomsday scheduled for May 1, 2026, and Secret Wars for May 7, 2027. Variety reported on May 23, 2025, that both dates had moved: Doomsday to December 18, 2026, and Secret Wars to December 17, 2027. Older articles and schedules may therefore show dates that no longer match the schedule cited here.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Release dates can change. Disney’s July 2026 announcement confirms the Doomsday date above; the Secret Wars date cited here is from Variety’s 2025 report on the schedule shift.
Release order is not the same as the story timeline
Sony says Brand New Day takes place four years after Spider-Man: No Way Home. That is an in-story time jump, not a release-date clue: it does not place the movie after Doomsday or between the two Avengers films.
