On average, there are six times more gyms, tanning sales and “cosmetic surgeons” in Liverpool than anywhere else in England. This VICE documentary looks primarily at the beauty treatments and lengths which women are willing to go to in order to achieve a year-round tan. The modern phenomenon isn’t restricted only to the ladies though, metrosexual men of the modern era are willing to go to surprising lengths in order to achieve a higher level of attraction.
