He also described an imbalance in the sacrifices made for the relationship. His account said Laura had adjusted her life and career to support him, while he was unable or unwilling to make equivalent compromises. That is the direct explanation Dantes gave publicly for ending the relationship.
Laura also posted about the split that day. Contemporary reporting described her as a fellow streamer and placed the beginning of their public relationship around October 2023.
How the abortion controversy entered the story

The livestream was later deleted or became unavailable. More importantly, the available public record does not contain medical records or independent documentation confirming the pregnancy, the procedure, or the exact travel and scheduling details.
Those points therefore need to remain identified as Tarzaned’s allegations, rather than being presented as settled facts.
Dantes disputed Tarzaned’s version
On or around June 22, Dantes responded publicly. According to contemporaneous reporting, he said the situation had been portrayed misleadingly and that Laura had given him permission to return home while he prepared to host a large League of Legends tournament.
He reportedly added that a scheduling change moved the procedure several weeks later, creating a conflict with the tournament. In that account, his absence was connected to a changed schedule rather than a refusal to support Laura.

That distinction matters. It is not supported by the available evidence to state categorically that Dantes “sent Laura to Germany alone,” “forced” an abortion, or deliberately abandoned her.
Laura objected to the disclosure

Tarzaned later apologized
Tarzaned later apologized. A June 22, 2024 video documenting or discussing the apology was published by the YouTube channel More Doublelift, and contemporary reports also covered the apology after the backlash.
An apology establishes that Tarzaned later acknowledged wrongdoing or expressed regret about how the information was disclosed and used. It does not, by itself, prove that every underlying allegation was false. Conversely, the existence of the allegations does not prove that they were accurate.
Why the streaming community reacted
The controversy spread rapidly through the League of Legends streaming community. Tyler1 publicly condemned Tarzaned’s conduct and described the disclosure of private reproductive information as unacceptable.
Online discussion then blended documented statements with speculation. The breakup was not permanent. Dantes and Laura were publicly together again and married on October 25, 2025.
Dantes described Laura as his best friend, fiancée, soulmate, and wife in a post announcing the marriage. Laura later published an official wedding video, “Laura & Dantes | Wedding – 25.10.2025,” on December 3, 2025.
The reconciliation does not erase the 2024 controversy or establish which private account was correct. It does, however, make several older summaries inaccurate. The couple did not remain permanently separated, and the abortion controversy cannot be described as a proven final cause of the relationship’s end.
