He was a renowned spiritual leader who gained fame through his insightful teachings and philosophical musings. At the age of 21, Osho achieved the highest level of Samadhi, or enlightenment. After earning his Masters degree in philosophy from the University of Saugar, Osho taught at the University of Jabalpur for nine years.
Inspired by his own eclectic beliefs and philosophies, Osho soon became a figurehead for the international spiritual movement that followed him. He left his teaching post in 1966 to devote himself to being a spiritual teacher full-time. His lectures were punctuated by wit and humor, and he spoke with an eloquence that captivated audiences around the world.
