Returning principal cast
These performers anchor the returning ensemble. ABC’s current cast page lists several of them, but it is a living page rather than a definitive archive of Season 3 billing.

- Ramón Rodríguez as Will Trent: Will is a special agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI). Season 3 opens after he leaves Atlanta with Betty and tries to start over in rural Tennessee. Amanda eventually brings him back to the GBI, where a case connects to his past.
- Erika Christensen as Angie Polaski: Angie and Will’s relationship is strained after he arrests her at the end of Season 2. The Season 3 cast preview frames that fallout as part of their ongoing story.
- Iantha Richardson as Faith Mitchell: Will’s disappearance has also damaged his relationship with Faith; Rodríguez said Will had not told her what he was doing.
- Jake McLaughlin as Michael Ormewood: McLaughlin returns as the GBI agent. The available season-specific accounts do not establish a detailed character arc for him.
- Sonja Sohn as Amanda Wagner: Amanda is the one who brings Will back to work on a case involving someone from his past.
- Kevin Daniels as Benjamin Franklin: ABC’s current cast page lists Daniels in the cast, though the season-specific sources do not establish his episode-by-episode presence in Season 3.
- Bluebell as Betty: Will’s dog accompanies him when he leaves Atlanta for Tennessee. TVLine’s Season 3 cast-photo caption credits Bluebell as Betty.

Gina Rodriguez as ADA Marion Alba
Marion is a confident assistant district attorney new to Atlanta. She is paired with Will on a gang-related investigation after their first encounter goes badly. Rodriguez described the role as a departure from parts she usually plays. Although Marion was added with series-regular billing, that does not mean she appears in every episode: TVLine reported in April 2025 that Rodriguez appeared in 10 of the season’s 18 episodes, and that Marion was last seen in a dream sequence in episode 13.
Scott Foley as Dr. Seth McDale
Foley recurs as the head of emergency medicine at a local hospital and Angie’s new romantic interest.

#1 Best Overall
Raphael, a figure from Will’s past
Rodríguez described Raphael as someone to whom Will is indebted from childhood. Raphael leads a gang involved in criminal activity investigated by Will. The cited interview excerpt does not identify the actor, so no performer credit can be established here.
Ariana Madix as herself
Madix appears in an episode as herself. In TVLine’s season preview, she hires Ormewood for security while staging an intervention for a friend; it is a guest appearance, not a regular character role.
