Who took over and what changed
According to the announcement, Cicione would keep his role leading Anthem’s Entertainment Group and also manage TNA’s day-to-day business operations. Background: Anthem’s ownership and D’Amore’s role
D’Amore did not arrive as an outside hire. He held senior positions inside the company Anthem built around TNA, which is why the termination is read as a leadership decision rather than a routine personnel change.
