Crunchyroll’s U.S. and Canadian announcement dates to June 8, 2012; it described a then-current license, not present-day access. The announcement is historical context, not evidence that episodes are available now.
Why do old streaming listings still appear?
Services may keep a title page, artwork, season details, or episode descriptions after the viewing license ends. Search engines and availability trackers can continue to surface those pages. Check for a playable episode button on the service itself before treating a listing as an offer; metadata and recommendations do not establish access.

Availability also differs by country. Netflix’s message is country-specific, while the Prime Video page is a regional page; neither should be read as a worldwide catalog statement. A subscription or free trial cannot unlock a title that is not playable in that service’s current catalog.
Can you watch it legally outside the U.S.?
Possibly, depending on the country and the date. A JustWatch India listing reported Xam’d: Lost Memories on SonyLIV when checked in late June 2026, with a subscription price of ₹399 per month at that time. Do not assume a listing from India, Canada, Japan, or another territory works with a U.S. account. Catalog access can depend on licensing territory, account region, billing country, and location. A VPN is not a guaranteed way to obtain playback and may conflict with a service’s terms.
Is there a DVD or Blu-ray release?
A North American home-video release from Sentai Filmworks was reported in 2010, with a first-half release dated September 21, 2010. The historical record is available on the series’ reference page. - That the edition includes the English subtitles or audio you want. Historical North American distribution records associate the release with English-language availability, but the exact tracks can vary by edition.
- Seller photos, disc and case condition, and the return policy, especially for used copies.

Check the exact edition’s audio and subtitle specifications before buying.
