Kandi on Two and a Half Men was played by April Bowlby. She turned 41 on July 30, 2021, so “at 41” refers to the period from July 30, 2021, through July 29, 2022—not a current-age description. The available dated information identifies Bowlby and her work, but does not verify an image from that period; a specific description of how she looked at 41 would therefore be unsupported.
Who played Kandi on Two and a Half Men?
April Bowlby played Kandi, the character who first appeared under a different name. In a February 10, 2021 interview with Cream Magazine, Bowlby recalled: “For her first appearance the character’s name was Kimber but then producers said they wanted to feature more of her in the show, and realised they didn’t like the name, so changed it to Kandi.”

Bowlby described Kandi as “a fun character” and said she liked that the character was naïve in an appealing way. That gives some context for the role, but it is not evidence about Bowlby’s appearance at a particular age.
When was April Bowlby 41?
TV Insider lists Bowlby’s birth date as July 30, 1980. On that basis, she turned 41 on July 30, 2021, and was 41 until July 29, 2022. As of October 2, 2026, she is 46. The age in the headline is a past snapshot, not her age today.

What can be verified about her appearance at 41?
A reliable visual answer needs an image that can be tied to a date within that 2021–22 period. The available information does not establish a dated image of Bowlby then, so it cannot support a precise description or a before-and-after comparison. An undated social image or a later article whose headline conflicts with its body is not enough to establish when a photograph was taken.
For a properly captioned image, the useful details are its date and context—such as a portrait, public event, or production image. Describe only what is visible in that photograph. Do not infer age-related changes, cosmetic procedures, health, or lifestyle from appearance alone.

What did April Bowlby do after the sitcom?
TV Insider lists Bowlby as Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva, as Rita Farr/Elasti-Woman in Doom Patrol, and as a guest star playing Rita Farr in Titans. Her later work gives viewers a different role through which to recognize her, particularly as Rita Farr, but it does not supply the missing dated image of her at 41.
In the 2021 Cream Magazine interview, Bowlby said of choosing projects, “That’s right. I like to keep my projects different to each other.”
