Lifetime Movie Network (LMN) does not have one nationwide channel number. In the provider listings checked on August 18, 2026, LMN is channel 253 HD on DIRECTV, 141 SD or 641 HD on Verizon Fios, and 698 or 1456 HD in one Xfinity lineup. Your number can differ by provider, location, package, and format. Search your TV guide for LMN or Lifetime Movie Network—not just “Lifetime.”

The cited material does not establish a single reliable number for Spectrum, Cox, Optimum, DISH, or local cable systems, so use those providers’ own local guides rather than assuming a number from another market. Lifetime lists multiple cable, satellite, and live-TV providers, but that does not guarantee LMN is included in every plan.

- Open your provider’s on-screen guide or channel-search tool.
- Search for LMN. If it does not appear, try Lifetime Movie Network.
- Check your package details. A channel can be part of the provider’s overall lineup but excluded from your subscription tier.
- Look for separate SD and HD entries; the two versions may have different numbers.
- Confirm that you are using the lineup for your service address or local market, not a number list for another area.
- If LMN should be included but the guide is stale, refresh the guide or restart your receiver or TV app.
- If it remains missing, contact your provider and ask whether LMN is included in your exact package and available in your market.
On streaming TV services, the channel may appear as a searchable network or guide listing rather than as a familiar cable-style number. A failed search can indicate a plan limitation, not necessarily a device problem.

Is LMN the same as Lifetime?
No. Lifetime is the main network; LMN is the separate movie-focused network formerly called Lifetime Movie Network. LMN is known for made-for-TV movies, crime dramas, thrillers, and other Lifetime movie programming. Having the Lifetime channel does not by itself establish that your plan includes LMN. For example, DIRECTV lists Lifetime on channel 252 and LMN on 253.
Can you watch LMN without cable?
Lifetime lists Frndly TV, Philo, Sling, Hulu + Live TV, and DIRECTV Stream, along with cable and satellite providers, among its supported TV-provider options. Availability and package placement can change: a service may carry LMN only in a particular tier or as an add-on. Check the service’s current channel lineup for the exact plan before subscribing, and verify whether it supports the Lifetime app login if you want to use that app as well. The supported-provider list is not a guarantee that every plan carries every Lifetime network. Lifetime’s website and apps are described as accessible within the United States.
If you already subscribe to cable or satellite, search your guide before buying another service. If you only want a library of movies rather than the live LMN schedule, Lifetime Movie Club may be a different fit—but it is not the live channel.

Lifetime’s support page states a price of $4.99 per month for Lifetime Movie Club, but check the service’s current terms before subscribing. Lifetime says direct subscription to its website or app is not a substitute for a live-TV package; some content may be available without authentication, while full access generally depends on a supported provider login. DIRECTV also distinguishes its Lifetime Movie Club add-on from access to Lifetime, LMN, and the standalone Movie Club app or website. Access can differ when Movie Club is purchased through a third party such as Amazon Prime Video Channels, The Roku Channel, Apple TV Channels, or a cable or satellite provider. Recent TV premieres may not appear in the on-demand library immediately because of provider agreements.

Why LMN may be missing
- You found Lifetime, not LMN: Search the abbreviation or full network name.
- Your package does not include it: Confirm the specific tier or add-on with the provider.
- You have the wrong local lineup: Channel numbers can vary by market, especially on cable.
- You are looking at the wrong format: Check both SD and HD entries.
- The guide is out of date: Refresh it or restart the device, then search again.
- You are using an on-demand subscription: Lifetime Movie Club is not a live LMN channel.
- The app login is unsupported: Channel carriage and TV Everywhere authentication are separate; check Lifetime’s provider-authentication page.
Lifetime lists several participating provider types, but lineups and authentication support can change. For service-specific questions—including whether a streaming plan carries LMN or supports app sign-in—confirm directly with that provider. Do not assume a provider carries LMN simply because it offers the main Lifetime channel.
