The film behind the playful “superhero team-up” hook is The Wrecking Crew, an action comedy starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista as estranged half-brothers—not superheroes. Its full-trailer story follows the pair as their father’s mysterious death draws them into a conspiracy in Hawaii.
What is The Wrecking Crew about?
Momoa plays Jonny and Bautista plays James. The half-brothers are brought back together after their father dies under mysterious circumstances. As they investigate, they uncover family secrets and a conspiracy that puts their family at risk. The film is set in Hawaii and directed by Ángel Manuel Soto. Prime Video’s film listing identifies it as an action comedy.
