There is no live Rams–Cardinals game from the 2025 NFL season to stream now. The season included two meetings: Rams at Cardinals on December 7, 2025, and Cardinals at Rams on January 4, 2026. Both games are over, so current viewers should look for official replays, recaps, or highlights rather than a live feed.
For the Week 18 matchup, the clearest legal no-subscription option at the time was the local FOX broadcast received with an over-the-air antenna. NFL+ was paid and its live local-game access was restricted to phones and tablets under the NFL’s published guidance.
First, identify the game
“Rams vs. Cardinals 2025” is ambiguous because the 2025 regular-season schedule had two meetings:
- Rams at Cardinals: Sunday, December 7, 2025, Week 14. Los Angeles won 45–17.
- Cardinals at Rams: Sunday, January 4, 2026, Week 18. Los Angeles won 37–20.
The second game was played in calendar year 2026 but belonged to the 2025 NFL regular season. Check the Rams schedule and Cardinals schedule for the official listings.

Can you watch either game live now?
No. Both games have already been played. A live broadcast is no longer available, although a full-game replay may be offered through the NFL’s current archive or replay products. Availability can change with the plan and rights in effect when you check, so do not assume a replay remains available.
For immediately available free material, use official highlights and recaps. The NFL’s official YouTube channel published Rams–Cardinals 2025 highlights. NFL.com and the teams’ official sites are also safer sources for box scores and game recaps.

The NFL’s Week 18 viewing guide confirms the January 4 game’s time, FOX distribution, and local-market NFL+ designation.
What “free” legally meant
1. A local FOX broadcast with an antenna
For the Sunday afternoon Week 18 FOX game, an antenna was the most straightforward genuinely no-monthly-fee option, provided the viewer lived within the local FOX affiliate’s broadcast market. This is free after the one-time hardware purchase—not free internet streaming.

- 4K picture quality: With Roku Streaming Stick Plus, watch your favorites with brilliant 4K picture and vivid HDR color.
- Compact without compromises: Our sleek design won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, and it even powers from your TV alone, plugging into the back and staying out of sight. No wall outlet, no extra cords, no clutter.
- No more juggling remotes: Power up your TV, adjust the volume, and control your Roku device with one remote. Use your voice to quickly search, play entertainment, and more.
- Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.
- Enter your ZIP code in the NFL’s ways-to-watch guide or check the local FOX affiliate.
- Connect the antenna to the television’s coaxial input.
- Open the TV’s settings and run Auto Channel Scan, Channel Search, or the manufacturer’s equivalent.
- Select the local FOX channel when the game is scheduled.
Reception depends on distance from the transmitter, terrain, building materials, antenna placement, and whether the affiliate carries the game. If the channel is missing, move an indoor antenna near a window, reduce obstructions where possible, and scan again.
2. An existing cable, satellite, or live-TV subscription
If you already paid for a qualifying television package that included the local FOX affiliate, you could potentially watch through an authorized network, provider, or NFL app by signing in with your TV-provider credentials. That avoids a second streaming charge, but it is not a free service: access is included with an existing subscription.
- Open the authorized FOX, NFL, or provider app.
- Choose the live-TV or sign-in option.
- Select your television provider.
- Enter the provider username and password.
- Confirm that your package includes the local FOX station.
The NFL explains the relevant TV-provider authentication rules. A missing channel may result from the package, ZIP code, affiliate, account location, or simultaneous-stream limits.
3. A live-TV streaming trial
A service carrying local FOX might have offered a trial when the games were live, but trial length, eligibility, channel lineups, authorization holds, and cancellation rules vary by date and user. The available information does not establish a specific historical free trial for either Rams–Cardinals game.

- Compact without compromises: Our sleek design won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, so you can switch from streaming to gaming with ease. Plus, it’s designed to stay hidden behind your TV, keeping wires neatly out of sight
If considering a trial for a future game, verify all of the following before signing up:
- Local FOX is available at your ZIP code.
- You qualify as a new or returning trial customer.
- The trial’s end date and regular price are clear.
- You know how and when to cancel.
Was NFL+ free?
No. NFL+ was a paid subscription product. The NFL described live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games, with live viewing on phones or tablets; NFL+ Premium added features such as replays and other programming depending on the plan. The NFL product page displayed plans starting at $6.99 per month when checked for this guide, but pricing is volatile and should not be treated as a timeless 2025 or 2026 price.
NFL+ was therefore not a free way to watch the game, and it was a poor fit for anyone expecting to put the live local broadcast on a normal television. See the NFL’s current NFL+ plan guide and pricing support page for current terms.
Would NFL Sunday Ticket have shown it?
Usually not for a viewer in the local market. Sunday Ticket is primarily an out-of-market package for Sunday afternoon games. A Rams–Cardinals game carried by the viewer’s local FOX affiliate is generally subject to local-market restrictions, so Sunday Ticket should not be the default solution for an in-market fan.

| Over-the-air antenna | One-time hardware cost | Viewer in the local FOX market | Reception and affiliate availability vary |
| Existing TV-provider login | Included with current subscription | Subscriber who already receives FOX | Requires qualifying credentials |

| Sunday Ticket | Paid out-of-market package | Out-of-market Sunday afternoon viewing | Local-market restrictions can exclude the game |
Troubleshooting common problems
FOX is not listed
Check the ZIP-code lineup for the service or confirm that your provider package includes the local affiliate. A national FOX listing does not guarantee local FOX carriage in every market.
The antenna finds no usable signal
Rescan after moving the antenna, try a higher or window-facing position, and account for walls, metal, terrain, and distance from transmitters. An antenna cannot guarantee reception in a difficult location.
NFL+ does not show the game on a television
Check the plan and device rules. Under the NFL’s published guidance, live local and primetime games were available on phones and tablets, not as a general television-streaming replacement. Consult the NFL live-game access guide.

The app reports a location error
Verify the account ZIP code and device location permissions. Travel, a stale location, or a VPN can interfere with local-market verification. Do not use a VPN as a substitute for local broadcast rights or assume that doing so is allowed by every service’s terms.
A free trial is unavailable
You may have used the offer before, may not meet the provider’s eligibility rules, or may be in an area where the service does not carry FOX. Do not open a paid account solely on the assumption that a trial will apply.
Viewing outside the United States
U.S. FOX, NFL+, and local-market instructions do not automatically apply internationally. NFL rights differ by country and provider. Check the official broadcaster or NFL distribution information for your country rather than assuming that a U.S. service, or a VPN, provides authorized access.
Stay with official sources
Avoid unauthorized “free NFL stream” pages, restreams, torrents, and misleading video players. They may carry illegal feeds and can expose visitors to aggressive advertising, phishing, or malware. For this completed matchup, use NFL.com, the Rams or Cardinals’ official channels, authorized broadcasters, and the official NFL highlights video.
