Prince William’s “secret” sister is Laura Lopes, the daughter of Queen Camilla and William’s stepsister—not an undisclosed biological sibling. A December 24, 2024, report said Lopes was expected at the royal family’s Sandringham Christmas gathering that year, but the available evidence does not confirm that she attended.
Who is Prince William’s “secret” sister?
Laura Lopes is Queen Camilla’s daughter from her first marriage. She is Prince William’s stepsister. The label “secret sister,” used in tabloid coverage, is sensational shorthand; it does not mean William has a previously hidden biological sister.
What did the Christmas report claim?
On December 24, 2024, OK! published a story headlined “Prince William’s ‘Secret’ Sister Resurfaces: Christmas Reunion Could Spark Royal Family Drama.” The magazine reported that Lopes was expected to join the royal family at Sandringham that Christmas. That was a prediction about the 2024 gathering, not confirmation that she appeared.
Did Laura Lopes attend Christmas at Sandringham?
The available evidence does not establish whether Lopes attended the 2024 gathering. OK!’s report is the basis for the expectation, but it is not independent confirmation of attendance. The report’s suggestion that a reunion could spark family drama is also framing, not evidence that a conflict occurred.

What does the report say about William and Laura’s past?
OK! attributed an account of childhood arguments between William and Laura to Katie Nicholl’s book William and Harry. That detail should be understood as the magazine’s account of what the book says; it is not independently verified here and should not be treated as a confirmed explanation for any present-day tension.

No. A prediction published in 2024 cannot establish whether Lopes has been invited to, or will attend, a royal Christmas gathering in 2026. The report provides no confirmation about those plans.
