He appeared markedly leaner, but the figure was his claim, not an independently verified measurement. Perry called the reveal a “social experiment”; the available reporting does not establish how he lost the weight.
What Nikocado Avocado revealed
In “Two Steps Ahead,” Perry appeared much leaner than in the older footage many viewers associated with his channel and said he had lost 250 pounds. Philstar.com reported the reveal on September 8, 2024, describing it as a two-year “social experiment.” The number should be understood as Perry’s stated result, not a verified weigh-in.
The Tab reported that Perry also said he weighed 359 pounds at the time of the reveal. That figure, like the 250-pound loss, is a reported claim rather than an independently confirmed measurement.
How he hid the weight loss
The explanation offered for the apparent mismatch between Perry’s reveal and his recent-looking uploads was that videos had been prerecorded. The Tab’s September 9, 2024 timeline reports that Perry said he had been recording content roughly two years earlier, while the uploads continued to appear during that period.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
As one clue, The Tab points to a February 2024 upload in which a milk carton reportedly displayed an April 2023 expiration date. The timeline supports the account that some videos appearing later were older footage; it does not verify the weight-loss figure or explain how the weight was lost.
What Perry meant by “social experiment”
The Tab reproduces Perry’s line from the reveal: “This has been the greatest social experiment of my entire life.” Philstar.com also reported that he said he had not made a video in two years and planned to post content on another channel. His description framed the delayed reveal and prerecorded uploads as part of the experiment.

How did Nikocado Avocado lose 250 pounds?
The cited coverage does not establish a method. It does not verify that Perry used a particular diet, exercise program, medication, surgery, supplement, or product. A dramatic change in appearance alone cannot show which, if any, of those factors contributed.
For the same reason, the reveal is not evidence of a generalizable or recommended weight-loss strategy. The confirmed story here is the video, Perry’s statements, and reporting about the timing of older uploads—not a clinically documented account of his weight loss.
