Paramount+’s U.S. October 2025 highlights were Red Alert, Ozzy: No Escape From Now, Vicious, Mayor of Kingstown season 4, and Don’t Date Brandon. The service also added a large movie collection on October 1, 2025, plus CBS series premieres and a month of live sports. This is a historical guide to October 2025; titles and plan access may have changed since then.
Paramount+’s biggest October 2025 premieres were Red Alert, Ozzy: No Escape From Now, Vicious, season 4 of Mayor of Kingstown, and Don’t Date Brandon. The U.S. service also added a substantial movie collection on October 1, including Fight Club, Heat, District 9, American Psycho, the first three Scream films, The Craft, The Evil Dead, The Menu, and Zero Dark Thirty.
This is a historical U.S. release guide to October 2025, not a current catalog guarantee. Paramount+ availability can change, and some listings were tied to the Premium plan or to live CBS access before becoming available on demand.
The five biggest Paramount+ premieres in October 2025
Red Alert — October 7, 2025
Red Alert is a four-part scripted series created, written, and directed by Lior Chefetz. Paramount Press Express described it as a dramatization based on survivor accounts of the October 7, 2023 attack in Israel. All four episodes premiered globally on Paramount+ on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Composite AV output for use with analog TVs or for sending sound to a stereo system.
- DUAL USB AND MICRO SD READER - Play media files from USB flash drives and USB hard drives up to 8TB, or microSD cards up to 1TB. Supports FAT/FAT32, exFAT and NTFS file systems. Compatible with wireless air mouse remotes for non-line-of-sight control so that the player can be hidden away!

Because the series addresses a traumatic real-world attack, it is important to distinguish its dramatized scenes from documentary footage or an unaltered historical record. The most accurate description is a four-episode scripted drama built around survivor accounts.
Ozzy: No Escape From Now — October 7, 2025
Ozzy: No Escape From Now is a feature-length documentary made in partnership with the Osbourne family and directed by BAFTA Award winner Tania Alexander. Paramount described the film as an intimate account of Ozzy Osbourne’s health struggles, chronic pain, Parkinson’s diagnosis, and attempt to return to the stage.
It premiered exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States and internationally, except Japan, on October 7, 2025. For documentary fans, this was the month’s most direct music-and-biography release.
Vicious — October 10, 2025
Vicious is a Paramount+ original horror film starring Dakota Fanning as Polly. Its story begins when Polly receives a mysterious box and is told to place inside it three things: something she needs, something she hates, and something she loves. The film made its U.S. streaming debut on October 10, 2025, after premiering at Fantastic Fest.

This was the clearest Halloween-season pick among the month’s original releases. A suitable companion watchlist from the October 1 movie drop includes 30 Days of Night, The Craft, The Evil Dead, Scream, Scream 2, Scream 3, The First Purge, and Urban Legend.
Mayor of Kingstown season 4 — October 26, 2025
Mayor of Kingstown returned for season 4 on October 26, 2025. Jeremy Renner returned as Mike McLusky, while Paramount announced Edie Falco as a new season-four cast member. The series comes from co-creators Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon.
Contemporary coverage from TV Guide framed the new season around new enemies and a power vacuum following the Russian mob’s eradication in season 3. That plot setup comes from TV Guide’s roundup rather than a Paramount synopsis, so it should be treated as contextual reporting.
Don’t Date Brandon — October 28, 2025
Don’t Date Brandon is a true-crime docuseries that premiered on October 28, 2025. Its schedule description follows an online romance that develops into a deception case involving Brandon, his current partner Amber, and his ex-wife Athena.

Important access distinction: not every CBS listing represented the same type of Paramount+ availability. Some programming was available live through the CBS feed for Paramount+ Premium subscribers and then appeared on Paramount+ the following day. In other words, a listed CBS premiere should not automatically be read as identical same-day on-demand access for every plan.
Movies added to Paramount+ on October 1, 2025
The month’s largest film refresh arrived on October 1, 2025. The schedule included the following titles:

- For a library horror binge: Pair Scream, Scream 2, and Scream 3 with The Craft, The Evil Dead, and 30 Days of Night.
These are editorial picks based on format, genre, franchise recognition, and the published premises—not claims about ratings, reviews, or personal viewing results.
Sports and live programming
Paramount+’s October 2025 schedule also included UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, NFL on CBS, Big Ten on CBS, Serie A, NWSL, EFL Championship, PBR, Concacaf competitions, UEFA Women’s Champions League, SailGP, and other live events.
Individual fixtures, local rights, and plan requirements are time-sensitive, so a permanent release guide is better served by naming the competitions than by reproducing an expired match calendar. Live availability may also depend on the subscriber’s plan and location within the United States.

How to watch Paramount+ on a television
Paramount+ access and the device used to watch it are separate things. Amazon documents Paramount+ as an add-on subscription available through Prime Video Channels, while Amazon identifies the Fire TV Stick 4K Max as a streaming media player. A Fire TV Stick 4K Max is one compatible streaming-device option for watching on a TV; Paramount+ access requires a separate subscription.
A Fire TV device is not required, and a Prime membership should not be treated as automatically including Paramount+. Before buying or subscribing, verify the current device model, price, Paramount+ plan, trial terms, and U.S. availability.

- Dates are year-specific: Every date in this guide refers to 2025.
- Plan access varied: Some movie listings were marked Premium-only, and certain CBS programs were available through live CBS access before their on-demand window.
- Listings are not guarantees: TV Guide and the Paramount+ fan-managed schedule were used as historical schedule references; official Paramount Press Express announcements are the preferred source for the major original premieres.
