The Moana 2 trailer brings back Auli‘i Cravalho as Moana and Dwayne Johnson as Maui. This time, Moana answers a call from her wayfinding ancestors and sets out across Oceania’s far seas, into dangerous waters long lost to her people.
What is Moana’s new mission?
Disney’s synopsis places the story three years after Moana and Maui’s earlier adventure. A call from Moana’s wayfinding ancestors sends her on a voyage into the far seas of Oceania and dangerous, long-lost waters. The trailer therefore reunites the pair while setting up a new journey, rather than simply revisiting their first one. Disney’s official synopsis
