The family became globally recognizable through The Osbournes, but that MTV series featured only Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack—and several of Ozzy’s children deliberately maintained a much lower public profile.
Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025, at age 76. The family structure below reflects the six children identified in biographical and contemporary coverage, while avoiding assumptions about private relationships based on who did or did not appear in public family statements or events.

Ozzy Osbourne’s first three children: Elliot, Jessica, and Louis
Ozzy married Thelma Riley in 1971. During their marriage, which ended in divorce in 1982, he adopted Riley’s son Elliot Kingsley and had two biological children with her: Jessica and Louis.
#1 Best Overall
Elliot Kingsley
Elliot Kingsley was Thelma Riley’s son from a previous relationship. After Ozzy married Riley, he adopted Elliot, making him Ozzy’s eldest child by adoption rather than his biological son.
There is comparatively little reliable public information about Elliot’s adult life. He has generally remained outside the family’s entertainment spotlight. That limited record is important: claims about his current occupation, residence, appearance, relationship with Ozzy, or participation in later family events should not be treated as established fact unless supported by a specific, reliable source.
Jessica Osbourne
Jessica Osbourne is Ozzy and Thelma Riley’s biological daughter. She is the older sister of Louis and the older half-sister of Aimee, Kelly, and Jack.
Jessica has kept a much lower public profile than her younger half-siblings. The family’s best-known television projects did not center on her, but that does not mean she was absent from every Osbourne-related production or public family moment. It is also important not to confuse Jessica with Aimee: Jessica is Ozzy’s daughter from his first marriage, while Aimee is his eldest daughter with Sharon.

Louis Osbourne is Ozzy and Thelma Riley’s biological son. He is Jessica’s younger brother and the older half-brother of Aimee, Kelly, and Jack.
Louis has been publicly associated with work as a club DJ, although his public profile has remained considerably smaller than those of Kelly and Jack. He has appeared occasionally in Osbourne-related documentaries or television material, but he was not one of the central household cast members promoted for MTV’s original The Osbournes.
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s children: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack
Ozzy married Sharon Osbourne in 1982. They had three children together: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. Because all three were born into a family already closely connected to the music business, their public identities developed in different ways—one largely outside reality television and two through it.
Aimee Osbourne
Aimee Rachel Osbourne is Ozzy and Sharon’s eldest child and the older sister of Kelly and Jack. She is an actress and musician who has released music under the name ARO, taken from her initials.

Aimee is especially notable for choosing not to participate in MTV’s The Osbournes. Her decision was associated with protecting her privacy and building an identity separate from the highly exposed television persona created by the show. It should not be presented as proof of estrangement from her family: declining to join a reality series is a documented choice about privacy and career identity, not evidence that she had no relationship with her parents or siblings.
There is also a direct musical connection between Aimee and her father. Ozzy’s official catalog identifies a song titled “Aimee” on the expanded edition of his album Ozzmosis. The track title is a useful family detail, but it should not be taken to mean that Aimee performed on the recording; the available information does not establish that.
For readers who want to explore that side of the story, an Ozzy Osbourne biography book such as his memoir I Am Ozzy offers Ozzy’s own account of his life and career. Edition, seller, and availability can vary.
Kelly Osbourne
Kelly Michelle Lee Osbourne is Ozzy and Sharon’s second child and their only daughter besides Aimee. She became the most visibly recognizable of the siblings after appearing with her parents and younger brother on MTV’s The Osbournes.

Kelly’s career later expanded well beyond the family show. She has worked as a television personality, host, singer, actress, and fashion figure, including work associated with Fashion Police, Dancing with the Stars, fashion projects, and other television programs.
Her public identity is therefore connected to two different phases: first, the candid family reality series that made her famous; and later, a broader career in television, music, acting, and fashion.
Jack Osbourne
Jack Joseph Osbourne is Ozzy and Sharon’s youngest child. Like Kelly, he became widely known through The Osbournes, but his later career developed particularly strongly behind the camera.
Jack produced God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, a 2011 documentary about his father. The film is presented through Jack’s perspective and was released on DVD and Blu-ray. Jack also executive-produced Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne and co-starred with his father in Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour.

If Jack’s documentary perspective is the part of the family story that interests you most, look for a God Bless Ozzy Osbourne DVD or Blu-ray. The format and current availability should be checked before purchase.
Why were only some of Ozzy’s children on The Osbournes?
The Osbournes was built around the household of Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack. The series premiered in the United States on March 5, 2002, and won the 2002 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program. It became one of MTV’s most watched series and introduced Ozzy to a large audience that may not have known him primarily as a heavy-metal musician.
Aimee declined to participate because she wanted to protect her privacy and establish an identity apart from the family’s television image. Elliot, Jessica, and Louis—the children from Ozzy’s first marriage—were not the central household cast members of the original series.
That explains why many viewers know Kelly and Jack far better than the other three children. It does not mean Ozzy had only two children, and it does not justify assuming that the less visible siblings were unrelated to him or estranged from the family. A television cast is not a complete family tree.
The family’s public legacy after Ozzy’s death
Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. News and biographical coverage following his death continued to identify six children. Public statements, memorial coverage, and funeral-related appearances may not have included every member of the family, but those public absences should not be used to draw conclusions about private relationships.
The six children also have very different relationships with public life. Elliot and Jessica have generally remained private. Louis has had a public connection to DJ work without becoming a major reality-television figure. Aimee pursued music and acting while declining the family’s defining reality show. Kelly became a television and fashion personality, and Jack moved between on-screen work and production.
That difference in visibility is the central point often lost in short lists of “Ozzy’s kids”: fame within the family was not distributed evenly, and appearing on television was never a requirement for being part of the family.

For the musical connection to Aimee: the expanded edition of Ozzmosis includes the song “Aimee.” If you are looking for an Ozzmosis CD, verify the edition, seller, and availability because catalog listings can change.
Availability for The Osbournes, Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour, and other related programs depends on territory, licensing, and date. No specific current streaming service is identified here without a fresh availability check.
Keeping the family tree straight
- Elliot Kingsley: Thelma Riley’s son from a previous relationship; adopted by Ozzy.

- Aimee Osbourne: Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s eldest child.
- Kelly Osbourne: Ozzy and Sharon’s second child and a major The Osbournes cast member.

The original household cast centered on Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack. Aimee declined to participate, while Elliot, Jessica, and Louis were not central household cast members.
The Bottom Line

Elliot, Jessica, and Louis were his children with Thelma Riley—with Elliot joining the family through adoption—while Aimee, Kelly, and Jack were his children with Sharon. The Osbournes made Kelly and Jack the most visible siblings, but the show was never a complete account of Ozzy’s family.
