McDonald’s offered F1 The Movie miniature racing cars in a limited-time 2025 promotion in selected Latin American markets. Apple’s connection was the film—not a direct Apple–McDonald’s deal for the cars. Formula 1 identifies McDonald’s, through regional operator Arcos Dorados, as its partner in Latin America.
What the McDonald’s F1 miniature-car promotion included
The “McMenu F1 The Movie” promotion began June 25, 2025, in selected markets, including Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico, according to 9to5Mac’s report. The campaign paired McDonald’s meals with miniature cars inspired by the film and F1.
The Brazil offer
In Brazil, customers ordering a Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese combo could pay an additional R$64 for one of two reported 1:43-scale cars: one in McDonald’s colors and another inspired by APXGP, the fictional racing team in F1 The Movie. The report said just over 92,000 cars were available in Brazil at the time. That figure is a historical stock report, not a current inventory count.
The report also described a themed McDonald’s in São Paulo and a racing simulator at another location, scheduled from June 28 through July 20, 2025. Those activations have ended.

| APXGP-inspired car | A car based on APXGP, the fictional team from F1 The Movie. | A film-specific collectible. |
The available reporting does not identify the cars’ manufacturer, model number, materials, or packaging details. If considering a resale listing, verify that it is the same promotion item, check its condition and provenance, and confirm that the seller actually has it in stock. No current price or authorized seller is established here.
Was this a direct Apple and McDonald’s partnership?
No. Apple is associated with the story because F1 The Movie is an Apple film. The official Formula 1 announcement describes McDonald’s as a regional F1 partner through Arcos Dorados, which operates McDonald’s in Latin America; it does not announce a direct Apple–McDonald’s partnership for these miniature cars.

Formula 1 announced the multi-year regional agreement on March 6, 2024. Its announcement said the partnership would include digital and in-store activations across more than 2,300 restaurants, as well as virtual trackside signage shown in Latin American broadcasts only. F1’s current partner page lists McDonald’s/Arcos Dorados among its Regional Partners and says Arcos Dorados has exclusive rights to operate and franchise McDonald’s restaurants in 20 Latin American and Caribbean countries and territories. That operator footprint does not establish that the car promotion was offered in every one of those countries.
At the 2024 announcement, Formula 1 cited more than 150 million F1 fans in Latin America and a cumulative TV audience of 200 million in the region for the 2023 season. It also reported 2023 race attendance of 401,000 at the Mexico City Grand Prix and 267,000 at the São Paulo Grand Prix. These figures give context for the regional partnership; they are not measures of the promotion’s reach.
