What Marvel comics were in the September 2024 solicitations?
The June 20, 2024 roundup covered single issues scheduled for September and later, as well as collected editions and other products. Its highlighted new launches included three X-related titles and a supernatural team book. The wider slate also included ongoing series and issues tied to the Venom War event. This is a selection of notable announcements, not a complete record of everything that ultimately reached stores.
GamesRadar+’s overview of the September solicitations also highlighted the X-Men launches, Spirits of Vengeance, Avengers #18 and Amazing Spider-Man #58. Marvel’s official release calendar lists Dazzler #1 and Spirits of Vengeance #1 among releases for the week ending September 21, alongside titles including Avengers #18, Deadpool #6 and Ultimate X-Men #7. That calendar is a cross-check for selected listings, not confirmation of every solicitation or every retailer’s arrival date.
Which new Marvel comics were scheduled to launch?
Exceptional X-Men #1
The solicitation presents Kate Pryde and Emma Frost as the leads. It listed a July 22, 2024 final order cutoff (FOC) and a planned September 4 on-sale date.

Wolverine #1
Saladin Ahmed’s series was described in the announcement as a new solo series for Logan. The listed FOC was July 29, with September 11 as the planned on-sale date.
Dazzler #1
The solicitation announced Dazzler’s return in her own limited series. Its listed FOC was August 5 and its planned on-sale date was September 18.

Spirits of Vengeance #1
This launch brings together characters who have carried the Ghost Rider mantle, according to the solicitation’s description. Marvel’s calendar includes the issue among September 18 releases.

How to read FOC and on-sale dates
FOC means final order cutoff: the deadline for a retailer to place or adjust orders through the ordering system. It is not the comic’s publication date. The on-sale date is the planned date for the issue to go on sale, and can differ from when a particular shop receives or shelves it.
- TPB: trade paperback.
- HC: hardcover.
- DM: Direct Market. The roundup says DM variants are primarily for comic shops and generally are not offered by mass-market booksellers such as Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
The solicitation itself warned that release dates could change due to paper shortages, printer jams and shipping conflicts. Treat its dates as historical plans rather than a current shipping schedule.
