Waar was Litouwen–Nederland live te zien?
Voor kijkers in Nederland was de NOS de belangrijkste officiële route. De wedstrijd werd live uitgezonden op televisie en was online beschikbaar via NOS.nl en de NOS-app. Voor de afzonderlijke NOS-livestream was geen apart sportabonnement nodig.
De NOS vermeldde daarnaast dat de stream via de app op geschikte smart-tv’s, streamingapparaten en tv-kastjes van providers kon worden bekeken. Ziggo-abonnees konden destijds via kanaal #160 rechtstreeks naar de NOS-livestream. Kanaalnummers en beschikbaarheid kunnen inmiddels zijn gewijzigd.

Luisteren of audiodescriptie gebruiken
Wie geen beeld nodig had of onderweg was, kon de wedstrijd live volgen via NPO Radio 1. Voor slechtziende kijkers was audiodescriptie beschikbaar via NPO 1 Extra, destijds kanaal 81.
Kan de wedstrijd nog worden teruggekeken?
De oorspronkelijke livestream is afgelopen. Dat betekent niet automatisch dat de volledige wedstrijd nog on demand beschikbaar is. Controleer daarom de officiële NOS-wedstrijdpagina voordat je ervan uitgaat dat er een volledige herhaling klaarstaat.

De NOS publiceerde in elk geval verslaggeving, een liveblog en videomateriaal rond de wedstrijd. Een liveblog, samenvatting of nabeschouwing is niet hetzelfde als een volledige replay.

Bekijk voor actuele beschikbaarheid de officiële UEFA-lijst met rechtenhouders of de programmering van de lokale aanbieder. Rechten kunnen per land en per wedstrijd verschillen. Onbetrouwbare streamverzamelwebsites zijn geen goed alternatief vanwege malware, phishing, agressieve advertenties en onderbrekingen.
NOS of Ziggo Sport?
UEFA vermeldde Ziggo Sport als Nederlandse partner voor de Europese WK-kwalificatierechten. Dat betekent niet dat een Ziggo Sport-abonnement noodzakelijk was voor dit specifieke duel: de NOS bevestigde voor Litouwen–Nederland zelf de televisie-uitzending en online livestream.

Voor iemand die alleen deze wedstrijd wilde zien, was de NOS daardoor de meest praktische keuze. Ziggo Sport is vooral relevant voor kijkers die al over de dienst beschikken of structureel meerdere sportcompetities volgen. Voor een al gespeelde wedstrijd is een nieuw betaald sportpakket doorgaans geen logische oplossing.
