On May 23, 2024, Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet reportedly had a late dinner at Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi in New York City, joined by another couple. A PEOPLE report published six days later said an unnamed source described them as “still going strong.” That was a source’s characterization—not a direct public confirmation from Jenner or Chalamet—and the 2024 report does not establish their relationship status today.
What happened at the New York dinner?
PEOPLE reported that Jenner and Chalamet dined at Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi on Thursday, May 23, 2024. The account described it as a late dinner and said another couple joined them. It also reported that the group shared dishes. Yahoo Entertainment’s page republishing the PEOPLE story was published on May 29, 2024, and credits reporter Julia Moore.
Who said they were “still going strong”?
The phrase came from an unnamed source cited in PEOPLE’s account. Neither Jenner nor Chalamet is quoted directly confirming the relationship in that report. The story also attributed descriptions of their private relationship and of Chalamet’s demeanor at dinner to unnamed sources, so those characterizations should not be treated as statements from either person.
Does this report show they are still together now?
No. It documents what unnamed sources told PEOPLE about a reported outing in May 2024; it does not verify the couple’s status as of October 3, 2026. Later coverage by OK Magazine on May 30, 2024, and The Standard on May 31 referenced the same reported outing and PEOPLE coverage. They show that the story circulated at the time, but do not provide direct confirmation from Jenner or Chalamet.
